Mikes Beach Cottages

The place was amazing, service was good all the staff were happy,we enjoyed our stay at Mike's Beach, the place was really cool I can recommend this place for people want to enjoy their beach vacation.

I had one of the best experience of my life. The resort is very peaceful and relaxing. Mike has a lot of experience about fishing and he knows the sea and the reefs in the area as his pockets. If you go fishing with him you'll catch something, guaranteed! The staff is very professional, welcoming and always smiling. You will feel like home. The sea view from the cottages is breathtaking!

What a beautiful place! We stayed for a single night in a room with a fan for, TSh200k per night, breakfast and dinner included. I would recommend staying at least a few days. Also, the staff were super friendly.

If you have the chance to stay at Ushongo Beach, definitely check out Mike's place.
It's incredibly relaxing and right at the beach.
The bar/restaurant has a traditional wooden charm to it and offers the best food in Tansania for reasonable prices.
We can especially recommend the seafood as it is fresh from local fishers.
Mike is a wonderful host who can take you to any activity you desire, be it snorkling, fishing or a nearby national park.

Such an amazing place!! The cottages are located on the beach and each morning the sunrise is easily visible and picturesque. The food was delicious and provided a great taste of local cuisine. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful which made the stay very enjoyable. Overall, such an amazing experience. When I visit Pangani again, I will be staying here!

It was our local friend that brought us in this paradise. We didn’t have a plan to stay overnight but we did. The meal is so wonderful even the breakfast🥞Staff are so friendly and kind. What we missed was to go fishing 🎣 Hope to make it next time.

I spent in Mike's Beach cottages four days some weeks ago and I hope to be able to be back soon.
The cottages are so nice and Ushongo beach is a paradise.
I did travel by my own and Mike and the staff were really kind, they did help me to arrange the motorcycle-taxi to get there, and recommended me about the area.
The food is delicious, fresh fish every day. Breakfast is also great, with local fruits and plenty of food, and taking breakfast with such a beatiful views, is luxury!
It is possible to also to do some activities, including fishing with Mike.
I would definitively recommend this place!

This is probably one of the best places to stay in Tanzania. Finaly good beds! The good is excellent and the staff is as helpfull as can be.
I saw a review where someone complains about leakage and power outages. For the first: dis you ask for help? Cause Mike would have helpped. About the power: if you complain about that, you rreally don't understand anything about the way this country works, how hard the people try to make you happy in spite of all the pronlems they face every day.

This is such an amazing spot with highly competent and helpful, warmhearted people. Good place for relaxation plus they have Wifi, clean beach for swimming and the food is good too. Overall its a peaceful place to day out.

It is wonderful place to stay by Indian Ocean, just 40 min fro Zanzibar by motorboat.

Nice cottages with a resturant. Fishing, kayaking and other facilities available. Mike is pleased to assist guest personally 🙂
