Ushongo Beach Bandas, Bar & Restaurant

People do make a place. Here, everyone are wonderful, warm, kind hearted people. In addition to that, the food was excellent, especially the last evening with the full moon sandy firepit and freshly grilled fish and seafood, we enjoyed every meal and the breakfast is a hearty affair (I will miss it). We were never hot as the sea breeze kept it cool. I loved being in a traditional building as it keeps it breathing. I am fussy about having firm beds and we were super comfortable, we slept so well, read books outside. We loved going snorkelling at the coral reef, kayaking along the coast and up the river, long walks and there will be more activities available soon.

People fly to private islands to get the type of peace and tranquility that Ushongo Beach banda offers. The rooms are great with a great view of your sunrise coffee. The breakfast is included, and it tastes so good. I'm always impressed by how well the kitchen does it. The vibes of other guests and locals who frequent the amazing bar make this the best place to stay.

I always travel with no expectations. But what I found here blew me away! Seif and his wife and all the employees made me feel at home from the first second. It's a place where you can turn back time! Hopefully this quiet idyll will remain for a long time!
I came as a stranger and now I'm leaving feeling like part of a family ~ and will be back!... if you ever have mango soup at Seif's... the recipe is mine! It was a lot of fun cooking with all the nice people! Thank you all... from the bottom of my heart!

I have had only 1 breakfast one day and another day 1 pizza for dinner. Everything was good

We did an amazing trip to Maziwe Island. It is very quiet without other visotors and perfect for snorkeling. Thank you Safe for the great trip! Everything was perfect!
