There are two caves, which are not super large, but just large enough go through, see interesting stuff and bats and not suffer too much from humidity and CO2 levels. We’ve had great time with Ali explaining us everything.
Also it’s 2 for 1, since in the same place there’s also a chameleon corner. It’s not large (3x3 m or so), but there are a lot of chameleons and even their babies. For us it was even better, since you can see a lot of chameleons without having to go through a lot of places, so definitely recommend. BTW chameleons seem quite happy there.

Amazing caves and great explanations from Ali our guide ! Wear proper shoes in the caves as they're huge and can be slippery. The chameleon sanctuary is a great finish touch and you also get to hold them and feed them too
We paid 75K for 2 for the whole experience ( £12/person) and stayed almost 2 hours

Very much worth the visit. We went to both tours - caves and chameleons. For the cave you should definitely wear enclosed boots.
For chameleons you will get up close with them, you will also get all the information about their lives, habits and so on.

A great tip for a stop or a trip. Small in size, but an amazing place. You'll learn a great deal about chameleons. The owners are very passionate about working with chameleons and releasing them into the wild. The stop is definitely worth it. Thank you very much and keep it up!

Great little trip! The guys were friendly and the chameleon experience was reasonably priced. We got to handle the little guys and gals, and hang out with them. All very chilled out and a lot of fun to get up close with these great creatures.

The chameleons are great but the caves are even better. It’s a hidden gem and couldn’t recommend them more.

Very nice and cozy réserve for chameleon done by a young and respectful man. Good explication of the chameleon lifestyle, reproduction process and so on. He definitely deserves to be known in order to finance his development.

Tazari Chameleon reserve is such a wonderful experience and a must go in Zanzibar. You are taught about the chameleons in depth. You get a change to hold them and observe them. We saw baby chameleons and the eggs. An amazing experience and for a good cause. Please visit and support the local reserve!

Really lovely experience to the caves and chameleons. Knowledgeable guides and interesting to see. My kids loved holding and feeding the chameleons and the guy who looks after them really cares about conservation and increasing the population of chameleons in the wild. Nice little outing for a short break from the hot beach!
