Kendwa Beach

It has the most amazing sunset I've seen in a long time. I arrived at the beach late in the evening and couldn't catch the full moon but I saw it on my way and couldn't snap it because I was not on the bus window,such a shame. But it was so beautiful. This is where you should book your sunset cruise. You'll love it

Busy sandy and quickly-deep-waters beach during the day with sensational sunset.
What was stunning was that i was lucky enough to be there during full moon so on one side it was the sunset and the other side had the moon at full display.
Also super cute - chasing them crabs night time…

Just wonderful! Amazing beach in Kendea. The white sands and the turquoise water.
Swimming there is a perfect experience. You definitely need a sunglass to walk there as the sun reflects on the sand to your eyes!
There are some places to eat and drink. Some only offer food after 12.30pm.

It is THE SPOT to watch the sunset, for sure!
We went there one evening as we were staying on the other side of the island, where you can't really see the sun going down...
It was very nice to enjoy the sunset from the beach, with locals entertaining us with dances.
Overall, the beach has loads of activities available, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Something that in other areas of the island is missing.

It's very nice and attractive beach, it has clean water. I real like this place.

Kendwa and Nungwi beaches are a sight to see. White sand that is on some areas compliment with erroded stone. You can walk for kilometers during low tide. There are some areas good for snorkeling with a lot of starfish.
There are many beach boys trying to sell you anything as is usual for Zanzibar.
In some areas you can see fisherman preparing their nets, also old fishing wooden boats.

The place is magical and spotless! Not sure how but the beach is extremely clean. The turquoise waters and pearl white sand along with the fluffy clouds simply takes your breath away.
Many water sport activities to choose from including Sky Diving, Snorkeling, Jet skiing, Sunset Dhow tours etc.
A perfect honeymoon destination too with a wide choice of restaurants to choose from.
Must visit if you are in Zanzibar.

Fairly popular in the evening but no surprise with a sunset like that. Good for swimming, walking, grabbing something to eat/drink, or simply just chilling admiring the sunset with a book.

Huge white sand beach. Tide is always in so you can swim all day. Beautiful blue waters and there were lots of starfish (and some sea urchins) super close to shore.

The water is so clear. I loved this beach. We saw star fishes, little fishes, seahorses etc. A tropical paradise.
