Great waverunner tour to Tumbatu Island with Indris. It really worths the money for the adrenaline ir the ride, the beautiful seaside landscape and the friendly guide! Excellent! Impossible to miss.

It was my first time and just did the explore assisted dive. The instructor from Padi was very competent and helpful. It is must do for visitors in Nungwi area. They have excellent equipment, personal and locations for scuba and plenty coral to see.

The trip I’ll never forget

I’m delighted to write a positive review of Scuba Caribe, a diving center located in stunning Zanzibar. My recent experience with this dive center was nothing short of amazing from start to finish, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable diving experience.

A short time ago I got back from Zanzibar and I’m going to remeber this holiday for a long time. Thanks to the amazing team of professional divers from Scuba Caribe and a their good background me and my sister for the first time took our breath underwater. We found a whole new world, we’ve never seen before. World of scuba diving.

Our instructor Flavie was a huge part of that - she was friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled at teaching scuba diving. She helped my sister and I acquire our Junior Scuba Diver certification and made the whole process feel easy and fun. My sister has a pretty heavy phobia of sharks and was really scared, even though there aren’t any in the waters around Zanzibar. (Flavie has a slightly different relationship with sharks. She is leaving the island in sesarch of some finned friends to fulfill her own curiosity) Flavie took the time to talk to her and help her feel safe and comfortable before our dive. Flavie did an incredible job, and my sister ended up loving the dive and feeling proud of herself for facing her fear.

We have been in Zanzibar with my Family for one week and at first, it looked like another basic family trip. That all changed when we came across the Scubacaribe center. The diving itself was a highlight of our trip. Our max depth was 12 meters, and while the water wasn't crystal clear, Flavie made sure that it was still a fantastic experience. We saw all sorts of beautiful marine life, and the feeling of weightlessness and freedom underwater was something I'll never forget.

Overall, despite I haven’t been in any other dive center, I know this one is one of the best. The instructors are top-notch - everyone we interacted with was welcoming, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The equipment is in great condition, and the whole operation is run with safety and professionalism in mind. Whether you're a seasoned diver or a first-timer, I highly recommend ScubaCaribe - you won't be disappointed!"

Great Dive Center. Book your diving online to benefit a 10% discount. Equipment is new, dive boats are vell maintained and fast. Staff is nice and supportive.

Fantastic team especially Ahmed. Initially i went snorkling to Tembu Island then decided to do the introduction to Scuba which was with Ahmed. He took us to the pool initially then for a dive to a local reef. He was so good that i then did my Padi with him. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about all things Scuba. He explains everything to you in a way that you understand and gives you time to practice so you gain confidence in your own ability. In total i did 4 dives with him and cannot fault him. I achieved my Open Water Padi whilst at Riu Jambo. If you are thinking of doing any diving then i would recommend using Ahmed. Looking forward to diving with him again.

I had an incredible experience at the diving club where I completed my advanced diving course with Instructor Bas. It was absolutely amazing! The instruction was top-notch, and the entire team made the learning process both safe and enjoyable. I highly recommend this club to anyone looking to advance their diving skills.

I have already been diving with ScubaCaribe on several places. Because of the good experience, I always try to find a hotel where ScubaCaribe is nearby. They are professional, friendly, helpfull, have good equipment, smart carrying bag system, and the briefing is also extended, detailed and good. Now I dove with ScubaCaribe Zanzibar, located at the RIU Jambo hotel area.
Today I had a special experience. After the first (great) dive, I susdenly lost my GoPro. I saw it going down and tried to swim down to catch it, but there was too much air in my BCD. Because of the current we had to go back to the spot where it approximately happend. Bas, the dive instructie and Davis, a diver who had 100+ dives of experience, went down to try to find it. After a while we picked them up and it seemed that they didn't found it .... But then suddenly Bas showed the GoPro! They found it !!!! This was really a needle in the haystack situation! So they are my lifetime heros!!!
Even if I didn't lost my GoPro, Bas is a great Dive Guide! Showed us several nice spots and fish and it was a pleasure diving with him!
So Bas: I already thanked you a thousand times for finding my GoPro, but here I would like to thank you again!!! 👍 👏 👌

We took the 1.5 hours jet ski trip with our amazing guide Idris, he was really nice and polite. He was very knowlegeable and told us some pretty nice and scary stories about the Tumbatu island. Idris even managed to get us close up with a group of dolphins swimming around us and leaping out of the water. It was truly breathtaking. Thank you Idris for this amazing experience! The tour is reasonably priced, the equipment is well maintaned and cleaned, the staff are warm and welcoming. Definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend to everyone visiting zanzibar and lodging at the Riu Jambo or Riu Palace resorts. ✌

My experience with ScubaCaribe was really awesome, the staff was really nice and cheerful all the time, helping at everything I needed or supporting on any question I had. They really took care of me during the dive and the Jetsky tour. Laura, who was the Manager, was awesome providing all the information about the divespots and activities. ScubaCaribe is a great choice for a fun day.

We had a great Refresher Course and two lovely dives with Rony and Osman! They are great team, and I can highly recommend to dive with them in Zanzibar.

One thing I would improve is sup/paddle boat rental here. The all inclusive package is just for 30 mins with lots or paperwork beforehand required..

One of the best of dive centers in Zanzibar!
I got my Advanced Open Water Course with Bastiaan. He is a unique instructor who goes above and beyond 👏🏻 He gave clear briefings, explained everything step by step, answered to all questions. Bastiaan has great approaches in teaching. He proposed to play games underwater to practice buoyancy. There were several activities. They were hard but so funny in the same time. Through challenges and interesting tasks I got a lot of useful practice under instructor’s supervision. Also Bastiaan knows how to deal with sometimes stressful fresh divers 😅

This dive center has good and new equipment, speed boats and nice and friendly staff.

We are 100% happy that we chose ScubaCaribe, thank you a lot 🤗

We had a great time with the scuba caribe team. Everybody is very very kind,polite and professional. We searched a lot for good diving center in Zanzibar and found the perfect one. We did the dives with Osman and he was very professional. I think that they have the best boat that I seen in the place and a very good and well kept equipment. Thank you all for such a great time. I have completed Open Water Dive Certificate with Bus being an instructor. I really like the course and the way how Bass was teaching me; though i had previous experience in diving, now it is much more clear steps we need to make during the diving and the reason for the steps

Diving with Scuba Caribe was uncomplicated and the organization was good. Ahmed is a really great guide, highly recommended!

Somehow the dives seem to not be longer than 45 min. even though enough air is left in the tank, but that’s not a big deal to me.

It has nothing to do with the dive base itself, but I’ve expected a bit more in terms of corals and visibility in Sansibar, but maybe August just isn’t the best time for diving here :)

Overall, I would recommend Scuba Caribe on Sansibar.

We had such an amazing time in Zanzibar thanks to Scuba Caribe Zanzibar. Completed the Open water and Advanced diver courses with Ahmed. We are very thankful for him - couldn’t have asked for a better coach. He loves what he is doing and he is great in it! We truly recommend him to anyone, who would like to learn diving from a professional diver.

We had a romantic catamaran tour with Scuba Caribe, as well. Also recommended!!! :)
