Mnana Lodge

Great place, owner is very nice person, so are the employees. We felt very welcomed here. There is outside garden where one can just chill and enjoy holiday. It's also possible to borrow a bicycle for free. The beach is close, but there are cliffs so it's better to swim between high and low tide. There is also a restaurant in the Mnana Lodge, food is really good and prepared quite quickly (given the fact you're on Zanzibar) We enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome here.

Jenny is just the best hostess I've met so far. She goes above and beyond to ensure you're satisfied. She's always on her feet, watching after her guests from whatever port you're coming in to Zanzibar. Wonder how she does it. She's just amazing. Mnana lodge is beautiful, relaxing, cool, clean, and has an archaic feel to it, the sea/beach is a short walk from the lodge. You sleep and wake up to the sound of sea-waves. The lodge is clean, has an homey Italian/European/African feel to it. It's just cozy for anyone. Then the meal is just perfect. I had a full, rich breakfast and lunch ranges from seafood to Mediterranean. I stayed in the dormitory bedroom, but it's so spacious. Jenny you are the best.

We have been there for 4 days and it was amazing! We enjoyed everything! The food is really tasty and cheap, from the lodge is possible to do any kind of escursion, the place is an oasy of peace... surrounded by beautiful vegetation and flowers, there's a nice swimming pool, bicycles at costumers disposition and so so so on...! Than last but not least, the staff: Jenny, the crew and the super cute Darma are amazing, the will do everything you need to make your holidays greats

Excellent Hospitality by the owners.
Rooms though small are comfortable for 2 persons.
Breakfast was delicious.
They took us for Dolphin Spotting, (at an additional charge) and provided very good instructions for the best possible chance to view the Dolphins.

Nice place to stay, & have a drink. Such a cool place. I loved the wi-fi (very speed)!! You can see a baby whale skull (pic below). Owner help you how to go & see / swim with dolphins & whale (depends w/ seasons too)

Food smells amazing, can't wait to tuck in; lovely ambience and beautiful!!

Without question perhaps the best Italian food I've had anywhere (puts the UK to shame!!)... go try, thank me later 😉

I went there only for the restaurant but who could have thought I would eat one of the best pastas in my life in Zanzibar?
Very nice place with warm staff and the food and cocktails are perfect.

Dont know about the hotel.but the restauraut is great!very cheap,very tasty,very big portions!the atmosphere is very peaceful,thanks to the massai guy!such calm and chilled,like in a meditation!

I went here for dinner every night . Italian family that cook excellent food at a great price

Lugar con encanto, muy cuidado el detalle y la atención. Muy limpio y a muy buen precio. A sólo 120 metros de la playa y a 1500 metros del poblado de Kizinkazi. Excelentes cócteles preparados por Stephen Pinto. Y lo mejor es que te proporcionan, de manera gratuita,una tarjeta para el móvil, de modo que no te dientes nunca incomunicado. Un 10 sobre 10

siamo qui da 2 giorni e stiamo benissimo....colazione e cibo ottimi....nei dintorni c'è molta tranquillità...Jenny ti fa sentire come a casa...Andrea il masai è molto carino e gentile....le camere essenziali e sempre con qualcosa di particolare sui letti....consigliatissimo!!! a pochi passi c'è la spiaggia e a 700 m il villaggio...qui il mare migliore di Zanzibar

Un endroit au calme, une patronne super cool, une fin de séjour très détendue à mnana lodge, merci beaucoup ces derniers jours a zanzibar, loin des beach Boys parfois trop insistants, furent très agréable, caresse a darma😉✌

Ottima accoglienza, pulizia, cucina strepitosa ad un prezzo più che onesto. Consigliatissimo!
