Absolutely beautiful. Service and food is amazing. Rooms are so clean. Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful. Feels super safe. The main building and rooms are amazing. They knew we were getting married and decorated the room with flower pedals and had a cake in the room waiting for us. Absolutely loved everything.

Great place to stay at the beginning and end of a Safari in Tanzania. November 2023 was the third time my wife and I stayed at the Arusha Serena Hotel and have had a wonderful experience each time! Wonderful staff, great food, and comfortable accommodations, what more can one want when beginning or ending a holiday.

Very beautiful boutique lodge with bungalow style rooms. The grounds are nice and the actual lodge is elegant. Nice sitting area outside to have a pre-dinner cocktail. Service is amazing and friendly.

The staff here is AMAZING! So helpful, kind, accommodating, and professional. They arranged our safari with a vehicle, guide, and picnic all the day before. The food and bar service was excellent. The atmosphere and location was perfect. We came here for our honeymoon and are definitely thinking about coming back.

I apologize for my late review, my husband and I stayed at the Arusha Serna after our 2 week Safari through Kenya and Tanzania, October 23 2021. We stayed 2 nights before our return home to Canada. We stayed in a number of Serena resorts along our way and the Arusha Serena did not disappoint. It was originally a coffee plantation estate, rich with historical detail and is walking distance to Lake Duluti. The rooms are actually small round stone cabins and so beautiful. The Arusha Serna offers beautiful views over well kept tropical gardens. The meals enjoyed were delicious - we travelled at the end of COVID so the menu choices were limited but necessary due to the small numbers of guests that were travelling at that time. We struck up a friendship with Erick Nyamasagi, one of the hotel's concierge/waiter - he's was performing many duties as the Hotel Staff had been whittled down during the Pandemic. Erick was so welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us as guests! He explained the history of the resort and showed us around the ground - just an amazing host! It was sad to leave Tanzania and we really enjoyed our stay at the Arusha Serena Hotel.

The main building, rooms and property are absolutely beautiful. You can feel the rich history of the main building. We walked around the property in the morning and it was one of our favorite times.

Photos cannot reflect how beautiful and unique this place is.
Everything is green, the garden are so reserved, every flower get its own treatment.
There are free monkeys you meet there when you go for a walk.

The service was excellent, everyone was so welcoming and willing to assist with anything. We really liked the food!

Great hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms spacious and clean. The restaurant food and bar were also very good. Lots of monkeys and birds in the hotel grounds including hornbills!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is simply the best Authentic hotel in Arusha second to none. If you adore nature, indeginiuos trees and vegetation, Folks this is the place to visit in Tanzania. Weather is perfect, Natural Landscaping is the best, exterior and interior design in rooms, restaurant, reception...Keep up the excellent job!

Wonderful Lodge. The rooms are really cool, the food is great and the grounds are beautiful. Stayed two nights before starting our safari. We did the walking tour around Lake Duluti. It was a pleasant walk and our guide was knowledgeable. We got a rare peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. This is a great place to begin your safari.

A lovely luxurious place!

Beautiful, clean hotel. Great service and hospitality. I enjoyed my stay there. The staff did everything they could to accommodate me and make my stay memorable.

Just wow!! Amazing lake views from the upper garden area. Beautiful setting down the walkway over a bridge and onto the garden. Lanterns all on the walkway, loveseat swings, kids swings too. It was magical.

What a special place! The grounds are immaculate and more important the staff, from receptionist to grounds keepers are very friendly and approachable. My wife and I stayed at this property pre/post safari and found our stay relaxing. We originally chose the property because the Serena Hotel did not charge for an early check- in, after arriving in JRO at 7:40am. The General Manager- Erick met each guest upon arrival and would stop and chat with everyone to make sure their stay was perfect. We'll always cherish our stay at the Serena Arusha because after our 1st meal the entire staff marched into the room, with a cake, and sang happy birthday to my wife! If you visit this property be sure to bring a camera. The only gripe we had was the wifi is slow (we said this about every venue in Tanzania.)
