The best and cleanest beachin Tanzania. The water is so clear and the black sand tops everything to another level.
The view is fantastic and the road is great.
I had a day trip and I was not disappointed at all. We left early at 6:30AM from Mbeya and a arrived at around 10:00AM. We had local food that was really nice and delicious. We swam for a very long time took pictures. We left at 04:00PM and arrived at Mbeya at 8:00PM
We had a very fantastic time. We would surely coma back and spend the night there.

Very good beach with clean shore and sand, nice for swimming and beach relaxation. We played volleyball and football at the beach.

Lutheran Centre is a centre provides accommodation to the visitors who went for tourist or weekend rest and an enjoyment at Matema Beach in Kyela District, Mbeya Region Southern Tanzania. Matema Beach is the most beautiful beach among the beaches available in the Lake Nyasa for Tanzania or Lake Malawi for Malawian. The centre has restaurant, health centre and hostel. When you are in the beach, you will enjoy the God's creation by viewing the Lake and the Livingston mountains aside the lake a time. Visit Mbeya, visit Matema Beach, stay at Lutheran Centre.
