Fast food inside gas station. I got what I deserved.
Food was cooked and it was what I asked for.
Tables avaliable for sitting and eating.

I've eaten breakfast and lunch here maybe 10 times in the last year. I've never had anything wrong with my meal. It's always great! There's a tall guy taking orders most of the times I've been there. He is very friendly and helpful. I'm a long distance truck driver traveling 48 states. This is one of my top 3 breakfast or lunch spots in the country.

Don't let the all the negative reviews keep you from trying this place. I'm glad I didn't. Service was quick and friendly. As far as flavor, this is a "West-Mex" restaurant, of course it isn't going be authentic Mexican and neither is Taco Bell. I will happily go back.

Excellent place. Employees were very professional, fast and polite. Service was very fast. Really can't say enough positive about this place. I've been here 3 times now, and it's always A+.

Wasn't sure if I could eat here cuz of my dietary issues but I can say with all pleasantness that the staff was very understanding and helpful in menu opotions that were available to me most places wouldn't care they took the time to help me pick something I could eat 10/10 service and with a smile none the less 🤩🥰

Can't help but wonder if this place is getting trolled with all these bad reviews. Eugene was training a new employee. He was super courteous and looked like he enjoyed giving people delicious fast food. Was refreshing from the usual slow negative service of many fast food places.

Damn good taco salad. And the employees are no .1 in my book. Great place and kind people.

I was very skeptic after reading all the reviews.I ordered street taco’s and yes they was almost cold,but it’s made of fresh lettuce,tomatoes,onions,cheese ,so how it is possible to make it hot???And the nachos was really great.All the flavors.Will be back again

Been here a couple times. Food is good and comes quick, and Richard at the register is worth a 5 star review on his own

My experience here was perfectly fine. Very fast and courteous cashier who explained the ingredients to me. They had the food prepared and I received it in less than 5 minutes. Food was as good as I had expected.

Don't know what other reviewers are talking about... 2:00 in the afternoon, they asked for our order as soon as we walked in the door, got food within a couple minutes. All cooked right, employees were friendly.

I stopped in here to stay the night and grab a bite to eat…. Richard helped me and he was extremely nice… great customer service

So just so webare clear. The other post by Christina Christensen is not me!! I would never post that. And my experience at taco John's in Avoca iowa has always been great customer service and friendly faces! And my food was always fresh!! So please disregard the other post made by Amy Grant. KIMBERLEE GREEN stole my name and posted the obscene review!! Sorry for the inconvenience. But taco John's in Avoca iowa is the place to go!!

Very friendly and professional staff. Great chicken taco salad. Very tasty, especially for 10pm at a truck stop. Will return again.
