Gardner's Country Village - CLOSED

Wow! What a great place to stay for a great price! I was impressed by how clean the room, bright and spacious the room was! It was also very, very quiet. Right off the main drag but I couldn't hear any traffic at all. I could not hear any of the other motel occupants either. I would definitely recommend Gardner's Country Village to anyone either traveling alone or with a family in tow. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful location in Star Valley, right across from the beautiful Star Valley LDS temple. We loved our stay here. Bathrooms were squeaky clean and it was convenient to be located right next to a gas station with food and snacks. The blinds could be better to block the early morning sun, but otherwise a great place for our family trip.

We stayed overnight while on a motorbike ride. We found the spacious room immaculately clean with an incredibly comfortable bed and many pillows that didn't collapse when you laid on them. There was good wifi and satellite tv also. It's close to the road but you couldn't hear any traffic and they have "quiet hours" between 9pm and 6am so there were no noisy neighbors.

My wife and I booked a one night stay on the way to Yellowstone along with 2 other couples who got rooms as well. The rates were reasonable and the staff was very friendly! The rooms were clean with the extras like fridge and microwave. The motel is next to a general store and gas station making it extremely convenient to get food. The scenery in Afton was peaceful and would certainly recommend Gardner Motel to anyone!!

My wife and I loved this place! The room was fantastic for such a great price. The room was very clean, smelled great, bed was comfy and wifi was great (which takes a lot to impress me at hotels). We definitely will stay here again if we come back up and visit.

We stopped here to fill up on gas, use the potties and grab a treat on our way to Jackson! The service was wonderful and we couldn’t get over how CLEAN this gas station was! I immediately hopped on to give them a 5 star review! Super impressed!

I had a very bad experience at Gardner's Country Village a few years ago, after visiting the store 50+ times. It was a shocking experience, but bad enough to make me question visiting the stop ever again. Their new management posted this response and I appreciate his sincerity and respect his apology. Thank you for listening to me. I will definitely visit and bring groups in again.

The rooms are great complete with small refrigerator and microwave.
The staff is excellent. They did so much to make us feel welcome.

This place is now Afton Country Village and very much so open. The rooms are amazing and beds are so comfy. Well worth the price!

I travel alot and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms here, definitely in my top 3 of clean spacious rooms, this will be the place I stay everytime I'm here in Afton

What a pleasant surprise. Clean rooms, and ultra convenient. Plenty of room to park big trailers and big trucks. We will be back.

I love to stop at this station when I'm in Star Valley. They are very friendly and have a good selection of snacks and souvenirs.
