My experience with My Michigan Alpena was great. From the staff in the emergency room to the caring staff on the 3rd floor. Being from down state and needing medical help and away from my family I couldn't have been cared for any better. Thanks to Dr Smith in emergency who assured me I'd be fine and the nurse who made me comfortable. She was great! And the nurses an aids on the 3rd floor made me feel comfortable. Thanks.

I spent 3 days on the 2nd floor in the med surg unit. My experience was great from start to finish. I couldnt have asked for better care from the entire staff. Whatever they are doing keep it up, it's working.

I am so impressed with the management team of our local hospital! They swiftly helped me get coverage so I could get quality care here in Alpena. I encourage local residents to contact these representatives and use your voice.

Recently went to emergency with what was determined to be “stroke-like” symptoms, so emergency staff, Drs, nurses (& others) were attentive and treated me urgently. Tests were conducted in a timely manner. Had to stay overnight. It was determined to not be a stroke after all, but I was pleased with how well I was treated. (Nurse on overnight shift (Kayla?) was helpful, personable & professional.) Thank you!

I was taken here by ambulance. Just spent one night. I have never been in a hospital with such wonderful care. ALL employees had a great attitude. There was a quick response to calls for help. Their menu was like being in a good bistro. You ordered when you wanted to eat instead of the usual all trays delivered at once if you were ready to eat or not. I was very impressed.

Just took my 4 month old baby in this past week for violent vomiting and not having a wet diaper for over 6 hours, every nurse and Dr I saw were beyond wonderful and comforting, my baby was dehydrated & the first nurse I had I believe Mark? Attempted to start an IV line but didn't want to push it so called down the OB nurses who came down and helped, I love that if they're not comfortable they weren't afraid to ask for help, just like the first DR I saw he examined him order him to start on fluids then called a pediatric Dr to come follow up. We were there for 4 hours but never went longer then 20 minutes without someone checking on us, I've had plenty of less then satisfied experiences here from the past, but this last visit I have not 1 complaint, only praise for these people that helped my baby.

Been to the emergency room numerous times and they are usually always friendly there. Also, I had my babies there and it was a great experience with the Obgyn office to the actual delivery room and nurses. Our pediatrician is also very friendly and always on call if we need anything for our baby! Thank you to all the caring staff for everything you do!

Top notch all day long. From the Emergency department to the 3rd floor, the physicians and nursing staff were spectacular. Providing the greatest care we've received at a hospital anywhere in Michigan. Unfortunately we've seen the inside of too many facilities in the past few years. We were on holiday and my husband injured himself, he spent 9 days on the 3rd floor with the greatest nursing staff we have ever encountered. Thank you will never be enough to express our gratitude.

Brought my boyfriend in Wed extreem pain. They seen him right away and brought relief quickly. Staff of nurses, doctors and receptionist all treated us with respect and concern. Highly recommend.

I had total knee replacement. Everyone was friendly, registration was efficient, anesthesiologist was very friendly and communicated choices to me plainly enough so I could understand and make a comfortable decision. Post operative care was phenomenal!! I had a better experience this time than I did 13 years ago on my other knee at a different location further north. The PT department is wonderful, too! Also, my in-home healthcare and PT was professional, yet very personable. I'm highly impressed and satisfied with my care. My surgeon and his staff were above par also. If I had a third leg, I'd be back asap!

Clean, quiet, the staff is very nice. They are always on time.

Emergency dept staff were great, ended up staying for 4 days inpatient, and had good care throughout.

Our huge mounted elk came off the wall and hit me on the head. My loving wife determined that a band-aid will not be good enough, so she took me to MidMichigan Medical Center. The nurses and doctors treated us in a very professional and courteous way. They quickly closed the lacerations and made sure everything else was good. We can be thankful for such a great facility in our beautiful city.

Went to the ER in May and was admitted for a few days for CHF. The staff was amazing! So much better than the hospitals I dealt with in the Detroit area. The cardiologist found a tumor in my heart that was missed downstate! Can't say enough about this hospital!

I wish to thank everyone including the ER and the second floor south for the excellent care that I received. I’m indeed thankful and appreciative for the fast resolution of my health problems and speedy recovery. Especially, the nursing and tech staff on second floor south performing beyond the call of duty. I was always treated with respect and affection such that I was always at ease.

I rate this hospital 5 STARS! I, unhesitatingly recommend!

Went to the ER because I wasn’t feeling well had a terrible sore throat and had shortness of breath and a cough. I see big changes in this ER. They couldn’t have treated me better. Joe the nurse was fantastic and the ER doc was caring and treated me very thoroughly. Thanks for everything.

Went for blood work on 12/11/2019. Registered for Blood work. Waited a half hour so I asked why I was not being called. And the registration lady did not send me info back to the lab. This is the worse hospital. I have been given antibiotics that I am highly allergic to. I was not properly treated in the Er. They say give us another try so I did. Well I am sick of this Hospital.
