Aitkin County Sheriff

We've had only a couple of interactions with this department and everyone here has always been respectful and acts totally appropriately.

A nice police officer of aitkin county sheriff's office gave me a nice compliment on my dog thank you officer who was at 610 air park dr tonight that made my day

This department staff is clearly outdated. Just old and tired.. The staff does not follow proper rules, and procedures. 3 different occasions violating federal law, and state violations. I literally stated how I was about to violate the law. They let me violate it. Now this is why the discretion in this location is problematic. The civil servant's are actually very confrontational, threatening and disrespectful. The superior ranking staff set very discriminating attitudes that will only multiply in stupidity. Education wouldn't hurt this whole facility at all. And I thought cats were pathetic....

Just had a horrible experience with Deputy Nvotney, He is not the kind of person who should ever be in the public eye! He was very rude, cocky & disrespectful! We have tried contacting the sheriff many times to discuss the unprofessionalism of his deputy but have had no luck contacting him. The sheriff has not returned any of our voice mails either. Deputy Nvotney
does not deserve to earn a paycheck from any law enforcement agency.
I would not recommend this Sheriffs Dept. to anyone!!

It's kind of crazy how they will straight up lie to you. Talks about upholding the law, yet breaks treaties.. Sad, bunch of sell outs for corporate interest.

WORST SHERIFF DEPARTMENT EVER#! TAKING MONEY FROM OTHER COUNTRIES TO GO AFTER OUR WATER PROTESTORS!! YOU PEOPLE SICKEN ME! AND I HOPE EVERYDAY YOU GET UP AND LOOK AT YOURSELVES....YOU TOO ARE SICKENED!!!
