St John's United Methodist Church

I was very pleased with my visit here. We came for other services and not church services. The building was nice, kept up, and clean. I met the pastor and he was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

I do not go to church here but I am a local occupational therapist who has had patients whose lives have been changed by St Johns ramp ministry. Thanks to St Johns for providing this to our community. What a difference it makes and what an amazing display of the love of Jesus! Also they have beautiful facilities and a great preschool!

St John’s UMC is a warm and active church. The church hosts many community events, and has great children and youth programs. Dr. Tim is an amazing preacher and teacher! The staff is great, always available! The music programs are outstanding. The choir is wonderful and our choir director, Catherine Stapleton Nance is amazingly talented and brings the best out in each choir member. Please join us and see for yourself!

Although we now live in Florida we came up for mother's day. We went to St John in Augusta prior to retiring but this was close to where our grand kids live. We got a tour as out grandson will be attending pre K come September. People were so helpful in a genuin way. Enjoyed the service. The pastor was one of the best I've heard adding a little comedy to his message. One of the best Pastors I've ever heard.

When JESUS CHRIST was on the Cross, HIS blood draining the life from his body, pain was far more than physical pain, for HE was suffering GOD's judgement on all the sins of the ages - the greatest darkness of the soul ever known. As the Divine SON of GOD, HE was perfect and without sin. But all our sins were placed on HIM, and HE took the judgement and hell we alone deserve. HE died in our place.
Why did JESUS suffer for you ? For me ? That we may have eternal life and have HIS peace in the midst of life's storms. That we might know that HE understands our pain and suffering and stands ready to help.
Why did JESUS suffer? Because GOD loves us. Because GOD loves you. There was no other way for sin's penality to be paid, and for us to be redeemed. The CROSS is the measure of GOD's love.
How will you respond to HIS love, poured out on the CROSS for you?

Think about how your life is going. Is it everything you had hoped for? ........Come look for change...... Not small coins but life altering CHANGE !!! HIS arms are open and his soft voice is calling....... " Oh sinner come HOME ".

Wonderful church with the most awesome pipe organ. Great place to worship.

I enjoy Dr. Tim's messages. They connect the Bible with my daily life. I also like their missions program and how active they are in the community.
