If you are looking for great coffee in Avon, then Isla Coffee is your place! We stopped in to get the Pumpkin Spice Latte and it was some of the best coffee we ever had. The place is very small with a limited selection of breakfast items but plenty of drink choices. We would definitely come back!

During our OBX beach trip, we stayed across the street from this coffee shop (off Wahoo Circle). We tried Isla the first day...fantastic! The Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte is so delicious 😋 We also tried a few other coffee shops off 12 (Muffins & Scones, Uglie Mugs, and Dancing Turtle), but none of them compared, honestly. Lattes (or any drink with espresso) will take a bit longer to make since there is only one machine available. The front porch is excellent to chill on while you wait! Next time, I'll buy the hot sauce for sale! I'm regretting not trying it now!

This is the best coffee shop I have ever been too! Such an amazing and friendly women. The coffee is so rich in flavor, Iced caramel latte is amazing. Isla Coffee also has many good pastries, and various snacks all around the shop. If you are ever in the area don’t leave without getting some coffee! Best service ever I will definitely be back.

we stopped here twice during our stay, and enjoyed it both times!! the pastries are quite delicious, and the drinks were very well made. my iced vanilla latte was very sweet and flavorful, and my matcha was flavorful but not even a little sweet--which, even though i like sweetness in my matcha, i appreciated that they didn't add to it in case one doesn't like sweetener. i just added some sugar and devoured it. my husband got the moon tea thing with a shot of espresso and really loved it. this isn't a sit-down café, but it was beautiful and clean inside.

Great little cafe with good espresso! High level of coffee quality. Definitely check this place out if you like specialty coffee. Good pastries too!

This coffee shop was so cute! I loved the atmosphere. There's not a lot of seating, but that's okay because the beach is less than 5 minutes away. My drink was delicious and the service was excellent. Our barista was so kind and friendly. She also gave us great drink and activity suggestions.

I lived in Seattle and now live in San Francisco and LOVE good coffee!! Isla has the BEST COFFEE I’ve ever had!!!! It tastes like caramel and heaven…hard to explain. They have a ton of options if you are dairy free like oat milk, almond milk etc. The coffee flavor is so delicious it feels like a treat. They also carry gluten free, vegan delicious treats and snacks from local places. I’ve purchased the vegan carrot cake two days in a row now! I can’t wait to come back here on our next trip!

Quality espresso from here! Enjoyed a lavender honey latte. Some of the others in the group got coconut cold brew and liked them as well. They had lots of pastry options, but the cranberry orange muffin was delicious!

Best coffee on the entire island. Such a sweet couple who own the shop! The espresso shots are rich in flavor and our drinks were perfectly hand crafted. We got iced lattes and hot lattes and they were both amazing. Thank you so much. We will def return😊

Amazing coffee, sweet owner and variety of milk offerings which is always a nice surprise. When we return for vacation we will be back! Our family has multiple allergies and we felt completely comfortable here. Decor is very bright and inviting.

Always looking for a cute little coffee shop while on vacation. I had to look no further. Not only was the coffee amazing, the owner was as well. She was amazingly friendly, her personality radiates and is contagious and she takes pride in her work. She ensured that our coffee was just perfect to our tasting. The place smelled amazing as well!

If you’re thinking about stopping for coffee, STOP HERE. The most delicious coffee on Hatteras Island. Locally roasted beans as well as espresso beans from Puerto Rico - simply a must go to if you’re a coffee lover. I met the owner today and she made me a perfect coffee *chef’s kiss*

What a jewel of a place! This is the best coffee I've had and the coolest shop in Avon. You must try the honey lavender oat latte, with one of the delish cupcakes. I love the atmosphere and all the goodies to try, the peach scone was sooo good, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.

Isla’s has now become my favorite coffee shop, and a new tradition on our OBX vacations. The coffee is delicious, the service is outstanding, and she even offers plant based goodies. You can tell the staff is incredibly knowledgeable on their products and has given my boyfriend and I wonderful recommendations on what to try. I really appreciate the kind, above and beyond service we received, along with the plethora of vegan options. I encourage everyone to visit Islas!

Best cold brew on the outer banks and very friendly staff. I’m only sad I learned about this place right before I left for the summer!

Loved this shop. Super cute jeweler, lovely customer service and workers. Seems very tight knit with their everyday customers.
