Very nice location for this coffee place. The setting where you order food has a weird location.

Pastries are delicious 🤤 tried two the chocolate twist and some Mexican chocolate thing ( can’t remember the actual name )
I had a latte but it was not delicious.
It has plenty of place to sit outside, good to take your dogs , a place to meet with friends or go and read a book.

Great coffee shop with an array of delicious baked goods and uniquely flavored coffee drinks. Didn't try anything else from the menu besides a latte and a cookie, but a nice range of options. Friendly staff, quick service!

Visited with the family - great food and a nice atmosphere. I would definitely go for another bagel sandwich again!

After upholding store policies about smoking in the patio area , Hailey tried her best to deescalate a situation but unfortunately it led to her calling the cops and getting cornered by an aggressive man, the entire team stepped in to make sure she and everyone were safe as this is not a usual occurrence. The care that this team has to put themselves in harms way and for the regulars to immediately jump in for their barista really shows how this is a connected community. And as for Hailey for the composer she kept despite the situation she needs to be recognized for her bravery!

Excellent location. Plenty of intimate interior- and some counter- seating as well as ample outdoor courtyard seating. Ordering was effortless and drinks were good. Pup-friendly exterior as well; nice ambiance. Looking forward to revisiting to try their pastries!

I love love love the outdoor space with WiFi & umbrellas!!! It's the perfect place to work remotely or read a book. The coffee was delicious and the food yum yum as well!!! It's casual, delicious, affordable, and comfy indoor and outdoor.

I had a Samoa Latte and it was delicious. I had a crazy experience though, as I was holding my coffee cup and taking a sip the entire handle broke off and my coffee splashed all over my shirt and pants. It even got on my wife's jeans. The staff gave me a replacement coffee. And even though this was not the best experience this coffee shop still deserves 5 stars. Just be careful with the house coffee cups.

Southern Ground at Neptune Beach offers a delightful experience with its inviting ambiance. The customer service is top-notch, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The delicious food and exceptional coffee make it a great place to mingle with friends. Highly recommended for those seeking a social and enjoyable dining experience. I will be back soon!

Best place for coffee by the beach. Has an amazing California bagel with salmon. Aoli sauce is finger licking good. So tasty and coffee tastes nice. Outside patio is so cozy. Always a good experience here. Never negative.

Great coffee, great seating as well. I love to sit outside and enjoy the weather, wind, chat and coffee. This has become "our place" with my friends. The brewed coffee is smooth, they offer plant based milk options and I enjoyed the avocado/tomato toast. It was a bit heavy on the red onion for me, but honestly, one teaspoon of dices for me can be a bit much and it was simple to shoo them off my toast without ruining it. If you're staying at the beach, this place should be on your breakfast list before you enjoy thr beaches.

What I love the most about Southern Grounds is that it feels like home. The more time I spend there, the more I learn to love this place and the people here. I’ve lived in Jax for a long time, and this place has been instrumental in helping me form a little bit of community. This doesn’t even touch how good the food is! This place is truly a Jacksonville gem 💎

We discovered this "jewel" of a coffee shop in Neptune. Friendly service and great selection. They also serve wine if you prefer. I certainly enjoyed the large outdoor patio space.

I like this location when its a beautiful day out i just sit and enjoy the outdoors with my chai latte and a pleasant breeze. something to much on usually the Breakfast burrito is a solid pick, any toast is good. Or the bowls

Great atmosphere, great service, great coffee, great bakery, great food. It was definitely busy when we got there but everything came out delicious, fresh and within a reasonable time. There's both seating indoors and outdoors. You can order to go and pick up as well.

This place has great coffee with more than fair prices! They also have wine and beer...plus, food items with a little bakery 🧁
Great outdoor seating in front and a wonderful little courtyard in back,as well...*if there is a rude, female college kid there asking you to "lower your voice" while she sucks all of their free internet into her veins... just ignore her rude ass🤣

Local spot to grab coffee in the area with beautiful, buzzing interior courtyard (great because it is near the beach and surrounded by cute locally owned shopping area). The coffee is very good! Interior seating just opened up post COVID closure. But we love it cuz they have a lot of outdoor seating, it’s great when you have kids in tow. They have pastry, breakfast, lunch and dinner, some vegetarian food options, beer, and wine. This is our family favorite spot to start or end the beach day with some hot cocoa for the kids and vino for us.

This place was amazing and delicious! Great coffee and amazing bagel egg sandwich’s here! Give this place a go.

Incredible food. My coffee was amazing. I usually don't drink hot coffee I ordered it iced but the barista gave me it hot and to be honest I loved it. She returned a few minutes later with my drink remade because she realized the mistake. Wonderful atmosphere. It's a great little coffee/bar in a semi hidden spot. Very happy I stumbled upon it

The service is always exceptional.
