We love the food and treats from Pet Wants on the Avenue!! Everything they have in their store is top notch, and we are super grateful that there is such a wonderful local store to get healthy food and treats without all the bad stuff our owner doesn’t want us to eat! The shop is in a great convenient location in Norton Commons and they EVEN deliver!! AMAZING! We love Pet Wants on the Avenue! ❤🐾

I switched my dog over from a pretty popular pet food brand to the food that they sell here and he LOVES it. He seems so much healthier after the switch. The store is absolutely amazing and the owner is so nice and does a fantastic job. I love that they are willing to deliver, too! Cannot recommend this place enough!

We love Pet Wants and so does our pup! Great quality and customer service. We live over the river in Jeff and get our food delivered monthly to our door (free of charge), how convenient!? What a lovely shop too! We’ve purchased some bows for our pups collar (so handsome) and he loves all the treats we’ve bought. All natural products and local is a huge plus!

Love the customer service, Rich is extremely helpful in answering any questions I have about all the products. I buy all my dog treats from Pet Wants now and my dog Hershey LOVES them. I recently bought Skin Spray to help with Hershey chewing in one spot. (His right side of butt) We have been using this product for a week now and using it pretty consistently I have to say that as long as we keep it on him the 4 times a day as recommended on the bottle he doesn't chew. If you have a dog that does chew like our lab does I would recommend this product, however you do have to keep it on them.

Pet Wants on the Avenue is an outstanding local pet supply store! The store has an excellent variety of food, treats, chews, toys and other supplies, mostly for dogs but also for cats! My dog especially loves their beef jerky. They also host numerous events throughout the year that are a lot of fun for your pet (Yappy Hour at a local restaurants and breweries, holiday photos and specials, local farmers markets). We have been customers for the past 4 years and hope to be for many more!

Pet Wants is the best! They have everything you need for your pet. The food is the freshest and best in town. You are able to purchase what you need and not have to be confined to shrinking bags like other designer brands. You can always get the poundage you want. Great selection of natural treats and goodies for your furry friends as well. Must look at the selection of organic shampoos, cleaners and anti-itch “spas” care for your best friend. Stop in, Lindsey is awesome, friendly and knowledgeable in anything you need for your pet.

I like to buy local whenever possible and Pet Wants is the best place for pet food. Our Weimaraner “Rupert” has been eating the chicken and brown rice food for over 3 years - he gobbles it up! I also like the flexibility of buying an entire 55 pound bag or buying smaller amounts by the pound as needed. I have not used the delivery service as I enjoy visiting the store. Great and friendly service. If you are looking for a better, small batch option for your pet food you should pay them a visit.

Such a wonderful place! Fur babies love this great nutrition and the cute store. Lindsey is super knowledgeable and her customer service is impeccable. I highly recommend this food and pet store. You will love it too!

I cannot say enough good things about the in-house cat food here, as well as their staff! Not only have my cats lost weight eating their food and are no longer in danger of being obese, but they have more energy, have started playing with each other again, and my youngest cat no longer has the digestive issues that we now know were brought on by the previous, lesser-quality food. We briefly changed to another cat food brand we believed to be high quality after we moved off Frankfort avenue, and immediately regretted it when both cats gained a few pounds and one started throwing up after each meal. We started doing delivery and could not believe they delivered to our new house for free! This food is a great value and a great product, even my vet highly endorsed it. Please don't ever stop making your products!

Great local dog/cat store! Their food is amazing- freshly made and very reasonably priced compared to similar foods. Best find there is the WackyWalkr leash- we have a very energetic border collie that can yank a leash pretty good...and this leash solved all our problems with pulling. Worth every dollar! The staff at Pet Wants were so helpful to show us several options. Thanks!

We've been coming here for maybe three years - a minute at least! The food suits our dog down to the ground, and I've yet to find anything that rivals the dried chicken hearts to get his ears to work :) Plus, everyone in the shop is always so nice... and the delivery option is very much appreciated!

Pet Wants is awesome! Lindsey is friendly and knowledgable, which makes for a very pleasance shopping experience. Unlike the big pet food companies, they make the food in small batches every month, so you can feed your dog or cat something that is fresh and not loaded up with preservatives. My dogs are heavy chewers, so they have especially enjoyed the antlers, which last for ages! Unlike those carried in some other stores, these antlers are huge, so they are a safe size for my big pups. Support a business run by someone who truly cares, and pay this store a visit!

My American staffordshire terrier loves the salmon blend. She has skin issues and sensitivity to chicken. Going to be putting my affinpincher on the chicken and brown rice blend. Great local store with excellent customer service!

This place is great. The people who work here are absolutely amazing and our dogs love everything we've ever brought home from here. Plus since we started feeding our dogs their food they seem to have more energy.

Lindsey and her staff and Tyson are always ready to help and answer all my questions. My dogs love the Whitefish and Duck recipe.
