This place exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was great but not overcrowded for a Friday night dinner.

Fried pickles: Spears came out hot and delicious. Only complaint, was the price (roughly $11 for 6 spears)

The kids mac & cheese I would eat, it was a generous portion and it was really good (fully expected generic store bought)

My wife had the brisket which was fantastic and I got the shrimp & grits which was equally as delicious. We will definitely be coming back

I had the crab starter and forgot to take a picture because they were looking too good I just dove right in. They were delicious and definitely delivered on taste. I then got the Philly Brisket again delivered on taste the brisket was smoky and tender, I did get the key lime pie for dessert and just by the looks of it, it should be delicious as well. Mahalo to the chef for a job well done. I will definitely come back as this was my first experience.

This cute little hide-away we found after leaving the Pearl Harbor museum. THE BEST smoked brisket ever!

The food was very good. Mac n cheese tasted like it was from a box, but overall, the food was good. They brought our food to another table, and my waitress forgot my corn bread. Didn't seem to know if my food came with one or 2 sides. I didn't care for the random birds flying in but I think the place had a cool environment and the staff seemed very nice. There's a big parkinf lot at the premises. I will def come back!

Small little bar with indoor and outdoor seating and delicious food. The Firecracker Shrimp are ridiculously good. This place is a quick trip from the airport so on your way in or on your way out of town makes it a great choice for lunch or dinner.

Things to get:
Peel-n-eat shrimp
Cajun Calamari (the BBQ aioli is DELICIOUS)
& both are on the Happy Hour Menu!

Reagan was our server and was absolutely amazing! She was sweet and attentive and gave HONEST recommendations. The food was flavorful and perfectly seasoned without being spicy. I would 100% eat here again.

One of our favorite places in Aiea. Love their crab cakes, waffle fries, and Swamp Water cocktail! The grits are also amazing and a welcome sight to this Southerner. Can’t wait to take our friends and family here.

We stopped in randomly for lunch at 11 as soon as they opened. I was happy to see sweet tea on the menu. It was delicious...real southern sweet tea. We got the frickles- fried pickles and they were delicious! I got the pickle brined fried chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and my husband got the Philly brisket with mac salad. Both were huge and tasted good! Would definitely come back!!

Went in for a casual lunch and had a great time. The atmosphere was great, service very friendly, and food was delicious. The handwash station on the patio is a thoughtful addition.

Excellent southern bbq food. I had the 2 meats & 2 sides. The brisket was amazing and pulled pork was really good. I’ve added the sauce and it was just delicious. Plus I ordered a lemonade and didn’t expect they gave me a pitcher size drink.. impressive. My coworker had thr cuban sandwich and he said it was great. By the way, they serve popcorn as a starter… very unique. Definitely coning back here.

This restaurant is a fun casual spot with great food and friendly service. I had the Crab Cobb Salad, which was great, but my husband ordered 3 smoker items and 2 sides, so I got to try a lot of different things. First, the turkey and pork from the smoker were super moist & flavorful, but the most awesome in my opinion were the sides - the cornbread casserole and mac salad. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area (very close to Pearl Harbor if visiting)

Traffic was backed up. We decided to stop in for a bite & a cold drink. Raegan(Roe) was behind the bar, what a delightful young lady. She made a most delicious Margarita. I got the pulled pork sandwich and my friend got the Philly Brisket. OMG some of the best Bar-BQue I have had in a long moment. These guys know how to Bar-BQue. I am totally going back. Loved it ❤🤙

The Mai Tais are huge and delicious! The Frickels were to die for as you can see they were gone before I could snap a picture! Great food, no leftovers from here!

We had the exquisite experience of dining here tonight. We moved to the island a week ago from Tennessee so I was a little skeptical about good southern food in Hawaii. Boy was I wrong! The atmosphere is so fun and sets the tone for a wonderful dining session. They serve complimentary popcorn as you sit and decide what to order. We ordered the frickles (fried pickle spears) and buffalo wings as appetizers and were blown away at how delicious they were! For entrees my husband and I did the pickle brined fried chicken sandwich, my sons ordered Austin burgers, and for our 2 year old we got the pulled pork with corn on the cob. Every single thing was scrumptious. Our server was so sweet and engaging and very good at her job. From start to finish this place was phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back.

Good service and nice food. the portion of main is good enough to leave you some space for starter and dessert. love the cocktails.
make sure you visit during happy hour. the price for beer is the best on the island

Bullet Points: great food, great parking, great sauces, great staff, great experience, highly recommend this downhome cooking kind of place!

Amazing little spot, parking is great, easy to get to. Service is friendly and quick, welcoming, helpful, and the food is out of this world! We explained we had to rush to catch a (long) flight, and the host and server helped us not only get lunch quickly, but we were able to enjoy the tasty meal, at a table, sitting down in the restaurant and have refills on the refreshing iced tea!

The pork sandwiches were just right, moist but not drippy, lean but not dry. Fries were hot and crisp, not dried nor burned and not soggy, macaroni salad was generously portioned and comfort-food familiar.

Due to the hurry we were in, we ordered what we estimated to be the ready-to-serve food, and it came out quickly. Don't think because it was so readily served that it lost any taste or appeal, it didn't! And the sauces were wonderful. We were pressed for time, I may have mentioned that, but I made sure to try all six bar-b-que sauces, Hawaiian, Southwest Texas, Memphis, Savannah, Kansas City, and Eastern Carolina, during our stop. Each one had a unique taste and consistent with the areas they represented, as far as I could tell. I had never tried Kansas City BBQ and found it may have become one if the top contenders. SW Texas sauce had a hint of cumin, the sweetness in the Hawaiian, and ....well, you'll just have to try them yourself and find your favorite!

The atmosphere is true bbq-style restaurant, saw several families eating here, kids with soccer cleats, babies, some grandparents, groups of friends, a couple at the bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Had all the makings of a place I would be a regular at, if it weren't so far from home.

One last note, the staff worked with us to help us get fed and get going. Their graciousness and kindness cannot be overemphasized. Our server, I think I remember her name as Sabrina, was stellar assisting us in ordering, anticipating our needs, hustling like she was the one with the flight to catch. She was not inconvenienced nor impatient with our circumstance, but treated us well. She was an amazing server, and because of her we were well fed and richly blessed in our last escapade on Oahu.

Dixie Grill, thank you! Keep up the fabulous job!

I have lived in Texas, Louisiana, and Kentucky. This BBQ is as good or better than anything I’ve gotten in the actual South!! We had brisket Philly po boy, pulled pork, baked beans, Mac salad, and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts....just changed my life forever!! I have a new standard to which all other brussel sprouts will be held. We even ordered 2 bottles of house made BBQ sauce to take home. I will be back! ...probably tomorrow. Or later today. Edit: I came back over a year later and got the pickle brined fried chicken sammich… holy jeez it was good!! Thanks again guys!!
