The food and service were outstanding on two different occasions. They are part of a bowling alley so the atmosphere could be off, depending on what you are trying to do at this restaurant. Kitchen area and restroom could be cleaner. They were busy both times we came, once for lunch and once for dinner. The OX Tail soup was very rich! We had that, tasty chicken and the shrimp both times. I rated the entrees in that exact order. Will definitely return.

Incredible food hidden away inside a bowling alley!

This place has tons of amazing dishes. The fried chicken is definitely a must try! I also really enjoyed the furikake ahi. Certainly a unique vibe here with the restaurant overlooking the bowling alley, little bit of entertainment to go with some tasty food.

Most people wouldn’t think about getting a nice table service dinner out at a bowling alley. Tonight we joined a local friend at The Alley Restaurant Bar & Grill at Aiea Bowling Alley. We ordered Tasty Chicken with brown rice and macaroni salad $16.95 which is deep fried battered boneless chicken dipped in a tasty alley sauce. We also ordered Teriyaki Salmon with brown rice and macaroni salad $18.95. Both of these dishes were very flavorful and very filling. We shared desserts of Lemon Crunch Cake ($5.75) and also a ever so light piece of cheesecake with a blueberry sauce on top. Both desserts were excellent and all desserts are made in house. They have a dessert case with many different options, all of which looked like items we would like to try.
The wait time to be seated was about a half hour or more as reg restaurant appears to have just 6 booths that seat 4-6 people. Our server was nice, friendly and helpful. The only negative at all is that the parking lot is much to small for this restaurant to share with the bowling alley and a couple of other businesses next door. We parked at the shopping center at the bottom of the hill.
We definitely recommend this restaurant and will happily return to try other foods, desserts and drinks.

This place isn't fancy, it's even a bowling alley. But their food - oh so yummy! We are somewhere else but I had to have dessert from here. I picked up a huge slice of Crunchy Strawberry cake. Not sweet just creamy and light. The crunchy outside is just right to give it that dessert sweet. The slice is so big I had to put it in the fridge for part 2.

Who would have thought a bowling alley would have such good food. If you’re dining in, make sure you check in with the host instead of ordering at the To-Go counter.
The food here was bomb! Everything came out hot and fresh and was delicious.
All the staff that we encountered here were super friendly and helpful.
This place has a total neighborhood local vibe to it which explains why it’s so popular with the local community and people from around the island.

We haven't been here in over a year. Happy to say it was as good as we remember, with ample portions. Sadly, they didn't have fried rice. Full assortment of delicious desserts!
Tasty chicken and fries/garlic fries were TASTY! Locomoco meat and gravy were good, we like to have the option of fried rice which wasn't available on our visit. Mahi sandwich did not skip on mahi, the thickest sandwich I have had in some time, the flavor wasn't my favorite (personal preference).
Was pretty busy on a Sunday night about 6pm. Still only took about 20 minutes to get our takeout order.

This place is crazy good! I would try everything in this menu if you but if you can't. I would at least get the chicken and the Mahi Mahi! Soooo gooood.

The Tasty Chicken is the Best! I had it with a Loco Moco in a combination plate and it was out of this world. My friends had the Ox Tail soup and they were all happy. It took over 2 hours just to get our food... All six of us agreed, Worth the wait.

Stopped by for a slice of carrot 🥕 cake (huge, 7-layers) and Oxtail Soup.... to-go. Lots of people had the same idea to order to-go. You can watch the wait staff prep the orders before the servers pick-up to deliver the food to those in the restaurant side and to us waiting for our to-go orders. Everyone was patient. When I got home, I deboned all the meat from the oxtail before digging in to eat! So good! Had enough for 2 meals.🌺💜

The most amazing oxtail soup. Goes perfect with that dipping sauce. I am addicted! I have been eating here for the past 10 years. It’s the only place I go when I am craving oxtail soup. The tasty chicken is also excellent. And the lemon crunch and pumpkin crunch dessert is awesome! No Apple Pay.

This was a surprise.
We were driving by after visiting the Pearl Harbor Memorial and was looking for a place for a quick bite.
We were visiting from Michigan so naturally Googled for local places to eat with good reviews.
This was quite close to where we happened to be and had real good reviews.
When we drove up, I was bit puzzled since the bowling alley aspect of the "Aiea Bowl" never registered in my mind.
So the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from picturing a restaurant/food court area in a bowling alley. Not the most cozy (due to the bowling noises) nor trendy (it's in a bowling alley!). But the food was quite the surprise.
We were visiting Hawaii for the first time and wanted to experience places unique to the area. And the Loco Moco that I ordered fit the bill. It was very good. We also ordered teriyaki chicken and spicy shrimp dish and they were all good. They weren't fancy but tasty.
This was a unique experience and I enjoyed it.

I am impressed. No, no, I am Really impressed! If you want local Hawaiian kitchen then this is the place. Everything is packed with flavor and the portions are huge! Come with a group and have each person order something different so that you can share and sample it all. Also try to save a tiny bit of room for deserts!

Heads up the service is good but a little slow because this place is happening. Prices are more than fair and if you can sit on the bowling side then you can be entertained by the bowlers.

Saturday dine-in lunch before Noon, waited about 40 minutes. Ox tail soup, tasty chicken, kalbi burger and mix plate. All were very tasty and our tummies were full and content!
The tasty chicken reminded me of a place back at home (Kam’s)
Service was friendly despite them being so busy. Was in a hurry to get back so got the lemon crunch and pumpkin slices to-go. Enjoyed as an afternoon treat with tea/coffee.

Absolutely bodied the food. We had the mixed plate (loco moco + spicy shrimp, kalbi + spicy shrimp). The kalbi was the best we’ve ever had. Service was simple and efficient. The perfect meal to end our short stay on Oahu.

One of our favorite places when visiting Hawaii! So, so, so good!!! We ate the a few times while we were on vacation. I know, look weird at a bowling alley, but it’s a must on Oahu!!!! Everything was AMAZING!!!!

Tasty chicken and boneless marinated beef, such a treat for me! They were juicy and tender inside, crispy outside. And today, finally I got the famous Lemon Crunch. It was a fluffy cake with sweet toffee crunch. That combination of the texture is addictive! Cannot wait for the next visit.

Visiting this place on a suggestion from a coworker who used to live in this area of Oahu. It is about 15-20 minutes away from Downtown by car and well worth the drive. A neighborhood bowling alley and restaurant serving up local favorites. On this night, Bobby, served us and made perfect suggestions. Our party ordered the ox tail soup, deep fried pork chops, kalbi short ribs, and tasty (fried) chicken. All of the items were fantastic. Bobby recommend we order the items “family style” in order for it to be shared. That was awesome as we were able to try all the specialities on the menu. To top it off, the lemon crunch cake was great too! Will definitely be back when visiting Hawaii again. Thanks Bobby for taking care of us tonight!
