Their array of icy treats is unmatched – from refreshing shaved ice to creamy flan, there's something for every palate. Love all the topping choices beyond just sugary syrups (e.g., oatmeal, taro, custard). Very glad they lasted through the pandemic. Was an old favorite a decade ago. They have raised their prices quite a bit but I feel the value is well worth it. At our visit in August 2023, they stayed open until the closing time (they used to typically close early). Like that they are using biodegradable dishes now.

I got the #7 and it was amazing! perfectly powdery/fine shave ice, milk was sweet, but not too sweet. custard was velvety, and mochi had a great chew.

Delicious - authentic and no frills. Guy serve the shaved ice out of a small window, so there are no seats. But there are some tables around the corner outside the pancake place. Be careful though, the place has seen better days, a piece of paint/asap halt from the roof fell into my bowl lol

I've been coming here since I was 5 years old. So that makes 30 years. It's just as good now as it was back then. Be yourself a favor, get combination number one and add pudding. There's no other shave Ice place that it comes close. Trust me I've eaten at every single one. Not that other places are bad. This is just the best by far.

WOW. So good. We came back again and again for this amazing shaved ice!

Been going here for years! Two sweet ladies used to run the place, and we'd sit inside and there would always be a crowd. It's our first time back since before COVID, and it looks like one of their sons took over. There's no inside service now, just through the window, but the shave ice is as good as ever. Parking can get a little iffy, especially with the McDonald's drive thru right there, but still worth it!

This place is awesome! Great prices! Custard is bomb. Ice is very fine and great flavors. When we ordered my son just rambled off what he wanted (not on the menu) and I gave the owner a look like "sorry, he's special", and the guy just smiled and said he can customize it however. Great service!

Literally a hole in the wall, but we love the Japanese-style shaved ice here much more than the native kind.

This is the best shave ice on the island.
They use fresh chunks of taro, soft tapioca and mochi, and best of all they use a family recipe for their pudding (flan) that is the most DELICIOUS pudding you'll ever taste. Their ice is super fine and soft but isn't a slushy. To top it all off they're a family business. Whenever I have friends visiting from the mainland this is always the first and last stop we make.

The best shaved ice! So many delicious options. Whenever we're in the area, we make it a point to stop and treat ourselves. I took my children here for shaved ice when they were little. Now my grandchildren love visiting Ice Garden! :-)

Amazing shave ice! Just the right size and, WOW, the ice is like a cloud. Highly recommend the yuzu, lemon lime, pineapple, coconut or cherry. It’s worth finding it in the lower parking lot of the shopping center. Thanks for a refreshing shave ice! Mahalo.

Can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Recommend any flavor with oatmeal topping as well as the taro milk shave ice.

We've been in Hawaii 4 days now and every day the kids ask for shaved ice. We've been by many stands and shops, but we wanted something that would really stand out; so glad we waited. I recommend the 🌈 with white mochi, of one of the interesting options like read bean paste or pudding (a lot like flan). Looks like a small family run shops and they were very kind

It's a nice little place for shaved ice. They have many flavors to choose from and lots of different things you can add, such as, mochi balls, red beans, ice cream, pudding, etc. My favorite is the strawberry shave ice with mochi balls and ice cream. They have some seating, but I like to eat outside.

Fave shave ice in the area!! Same powder-fine ice and wide variety of syrups and tasty toppings now that the kids of one of the two sisters' who used to run it (miss them!) have taken over. Efficient, timely, and pleasant service. If the limited counter space is full, there are a few benches right outside (but inside the building, so it's cool).

(Heads-up: Don't come expecting to pay with a card, though; they accept CASH ONLY.)

First to review! Surprising as this place by far is the BEST shaved ice spot on the island. It's a hidden gem, family owned and operated. If you are not familiar with the area it will be hard to find.

There is minimal seating but people tend to eat their shaved ice quickly so people are in and out.

The shaved ice is so light, not crunchy and just melts in your mouth. You can choose a variety of flavors of syrup and toppings from flan, tapioca, condensed milk, li hing mui powder, azuki beans, etc.

Tip: know your order before you get to the lady taking the order. Don't fuss around. It helps the efficiency of the whole operation. They also don't have the patience for that type of stuff so be in the KNOW!

This is one of my favorite shave ice places on the island, and my go-to when I'm in Aiea. I love the mochi and pudding topping they add. I really recommend #8 shave milk ice with two puds. Yum!
