5 Stars: United Floral's Fowl Play with Mitch the Silly Chicken!

We meant to write this a couple of months ago, right after they helped us with some balloons and fun!

When you think of United Grocery Store, you picture fresh produce and friendly service. But today, it was all about the fowl play in the floral department, where our friend Mitch, clad in the most hilariously humiliating chicken costume, became the spectacle we never knew we needed. The bright yellow feathers, the absurdly oversized feet, and those tight red leggings made him look like he was fresh off the farm and ready for the coop.

The staff at United couldn't miss this opportunity for some harmless fun. With a gentle nudge, they had Mitch doing the chicken dance, flapping and hopping around with a bundle of balloons in his wings. His antics, full of clucks and squawks, had everyone in stitches. It was a sight so ridiculous, shoppers couldn't help but pause their cart-pushing for a chuckle.

Mitch's beak-masked embarrassment and enthusiastic pecking dance moves were the highlight of the day. The floral department didn't just sell balloons and bouquets; they sold unforgettable moments of joy, orchestrated by their feathery friend, Mitch. It was laughter and levity at its best, proving that United Grocery isn't just about food—it's about creating moments that stick with you, long after you've left the store.

So here's to Mitch, for being such a good sport, and to United Grocery and their floral department for reminding us that a little silliness can turn a mundane grocery run into a day to remember.

The people at this particular location are super nice and very helpful. I really enjoy the salad bar at lunch. My only suggestion would be to have more than one checker, sometimes the line is kinda long. But they staff does their jobs as well as they are able, and always with a smile!

What amazes me is that the majority of the staff from late afternoon until closing are young. Yet, they are always courteous and helpful! I love the fact that if I need help getting my groceries to my car and loading my car, especially at night time, there's always one of them available to walk me outside and to my car and help me!

This United store is usually clean and the staff helpful. If any complaints I would say the coffee store (starbucks) closes too early. Not a big deal as it closes at 8 but it is right by the hospital so a late night coffee wouldn't be a bad idea.

Very service oriented, very clean, and a very good selection of produce. I've never found bad fruits and veggies there. The ladies at the Sushi counter helped to make me something I wasn't allergic to (avacado and shellfish allergies, which is hard to work with in Sushi). I've been thinking about a rewards account there for the past couple of months, but after getting consistent good service, cleanliness, and product every single time I go? I'll be signing up tonight! 😊

Awesome market!! 1st time there. They have comparable prices, a few items not found elsewhere. And the checkout is unusual! They unload the cart, ring it up, bag it and load your car! Love it

The renovations for this store are amazing! I was highly impressed with the cleanliness of the store! The hot deli had a great selection and the ladies working there were very friendly and helpful. Of course, Starbucks is a great addition, as well!

Its United what more can I say.
We always go to United. They're always clean. We love they're meat and produce section. Staff is kind and helpful. I do wish they'd train sackers a bit more.

Smaller location but stays well stocked. Lines move fairly quickly. Cashiers will even help bring your groceries to the car. Pretty decent location. I heard about united when I first moved here. They carry decent brands like lucerne milk and eggs they have a decent sized salad bar and there Deli is right on 🎯. I have no complaints. #Tom

United Supermarket has the best fresh produce and quality bakery. It also has meals ready to heat up and eat. Come and visit and you will find out 😊🙋‍♂

Nice coffee shop inside the United Supermarket at this location. I also like the reward points accumulated with purchases of groceries at all United stores. I saved $4 today using my discount on gasoline. Now that is a great benefit!
