Areni Wine Factory

Areni wine factory was a great experience to know how the factory functions and what equipments they use. We had some knowledge of how wine is made in this factory. We even tasted their wine, it was unique. Approximately they had 8-9 different types of wine. Great experience.

Definitely worth the visit if you want alcohol. Many types of grape and fruit wines, brandy, and vodka. All home made! You can also tour the production facility. Mostly worth it for the good priced and fresh wines and brandys imo.

Had a quick visit here for wine tasting. Many choices to taste for free. Cheese & Lavash were provided. Personally love their blackberry semi-sweet wine. We bought several bottles back home and they were very well-packed. The coffee shop on the second floor was also nice 👍🏻 a lot of cute souvenirs as well.

Great wine factory to visit. The people working there are super friendly, and happy to give you a tour and tasting when you get there (it’s free).

Areni Wine Factory is a good wine factory in Areni Area.
You can taste wine different kinds of wine if you like, and take a tour with a professional tour guide inside the factory as well.
The white wine as awesome.
They have a big place to sit and have hot and cold drinks too.
For a large groups, it's recommended to book your tour in advance because there are a lot of people visiting this place at summer time.

We had a tour of their cellar and also bought their wine selections. Cheaper and people said that the taste is also good.

Founded in 1994, Areni Wine Factory is among the oldest and most well-established wine facilities in the area. The winery has welcomed some 30,000 visitors every year since 2012. A tour of the factory includes a walk through the cellar where wine is aged in massive oak casks, followed by a tasting of the winery’s selection of traditional and fruit wines. In an upstairs dining area, guests can order coffee or tea and watch a short video about the Armenian winemaking tradition and the history of the company. Lunch and lavash making master class on site can be arranged with advance noticed. A small craft shop offers souvenirs and handmade gifts as well as a selection of wines for purchase.

Good place for tasting local wines including fruit wines like pomegrate, apricot, berry etc.

Good quality wine with the possibility to taste. Here you can find besides grape wine, also good quality pomegranate, apricot, peach and other types of wine. If you are lucky, you can so see the place where they are kept. If you travel to the South, stop by and try some wine. You will like it.

We tried some delisious wines, including peach, blackberry and raspberry wines. Comfy place with lovely people. Also great view from the doorstep.

You can get ATV for one hour here and ride to Norvanovank for 15.000 AMD, cool experience.

Very good variety of wine and for cheaper price

Did not get the tour, only wine and brandy tasting for 600 and they take credit cards. I tried one white and three reds (ended up buying a bottle of semi-dry red). Then there was pomegranate wine which was great and 3 or 4 other fruit wines which were ok. Cheese and lavash to clean palette. Then there were several brandies (I tried appricot and quince, both very good) and a cognac, which was the best item they have. You get a nice amount to try, so eat before or you will get very drunk. I only had a sip or two of each, so felt ok afterwards. Enjoy!

Very beautiful and Authentic place to Tastes and smells different types of wine, as well as several types of vodka and cognac. All products can be bought on the spot.

Good place, good prices and friendly staff! Just stop for 5 minuted on your road and taste a good wine! ;)

So cheap wines from up to ten years old wine. They also tour you around the winery.

Very good wine tasting 😉😋
