Zvartnots Museum-Reservation

I visit it in summer, it was very hot. The temple is not big but nice.
There are many apricot trees in the site. We let to pick the fruits by the staff. First experience picking apricot from the trees, lovely

Wonderful day out from Yerevan. I walked from my hostel but there are vans or taxis if you don't fancy a 20km hike. Good museum and although the souvenir shop wasn't open there were one of two items at the entrance to the museum. The ruins are inspirational and the views of Mount Ararat are beautiful - depending on the weather, mainly on the haze. WCs, parking and minibuses stop right outside. 1,300 dram for foreigners. The van costs 300 dram. March 2023 prices.

Beautiful remains of a temple built in the 7th century and destroyed in the 10th century, that inspired architecture of many other buildings. The area is large and one of the best in town to take beautiful pictures. Great occasion to dress up on a clear day to make unforgettable memories. The museum behind the ruins is also a great visit, with lot of information and interesting artifacts to see.

Just a great place. Well made and cheap entry. The best place I've visited in Yerevan so far!

Google maps took me through a grave yard to the closest point to the cathedral, which I visit it without buying the ticket!

A very old holy place in Armenia, near Yerevan, which belongs to about 1400 years ago!
It is of course in UNESCO world heritage list. So you have to visit it in your trip to Yerevan.
Behind the place, there is a museum that belongs to it, and there, you can read and see the hole story and details.

Magnificent place with unbelievable atmosphere there. The museum also is very interesting and rich with artifacts.

Interesting place of historical significance but can be seen in about 15 minutes so have other things to see in the area.

Liked it quite a lot and was there alone, as I went there by bus. Super easy. Entrance 1300
