Really nice hotel nearby the Gamsleiten lift. Friendly personnel and well served breakfast and good dinner. Special compliments for cleaning staff and Julia.

We highly recommend the Gamsleiten Hotel! The staff is extremely polite and always helping. We were offered a special launch bag when we had to travel home a day earlier.
The food is really splendid! The breakfast buffet has a lot of different options you can choose from. They always paid attention to my food allergy, i really appreciated our waitress.
In terms of location, you have a skilift right next to the hotel and if you prefer other slopes you can easily access a busstop next to the hotel.
I recommend 100% if you want to have a nice stay at Obertauern!

This was one of the best hotels we've ever visited. We felt very welcomed and confortable here. All staff members were incredibly nice and willing. Food was amazing, every single dish was delicious, buffet breakfast, cake and coffe at the everning and 4-course dinner. Room was comfortable and big with great views at the ski slope. Ski lift is right behind the hotel. Hotel bar is with great vibe. Spa is beautifull with delicious free drinks and snacks, bathrobes and outdoor pool at the terrace with ski slope views and sauna with views. Very well equiped ski room with secured heated lockers for at least 4 pairs of boots and other Sports equipment. Complimentary services including parking snow removing and charging station right in front of the hotel. At the check-out we got present - home made bread. We will definitely come again.

We, a family of 5, had a super pleasant stay one week in February 2023. Nice and clean rooms, very friendly personnel, great location close to ski lift, nice outdoor pool with view of the slopes, great service and food, etc.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly and loving staff. The facilities are well kept, everyone is engaged in the hotel and is genuine towards the guests. The meals are excellent and the complimentary afternoon coffee and snacks were a very nice surprise. Excellent location, great for families, family friendly. Not enough good words to describe it. We will visit again.

The rooms are very nice and the food was amazing. After a long day on skis if was really nice to be in the pool and the saunas.

The food (halfboard), the new apartment (Cuddle Nest), the wellness, the new pool, the view, location, the crew…everything was perfect😍 Excellent💯🔝🔝🔝

Day 2 of our stay here and we will be back next year for sure.

Das neu gestaltete Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und funktionell
ausgestattet.
Alles Top gepflegt und sauberer.
Das gesamte Team und auch Eigentümer sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Sonderwünsche sind kein Problem.
Das gesamte Essen nebst Frühstück waren stets lecker und auch genug Auswahl vorhanden.
Preis Leistung fanden Wir hervorragend.
Macht weiter so und viele Grüße an Euer gesamtes Team !!!!!

Optimale Lage zum Skilift

Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns schon

Regelmäßig besuche ich Obertauern und diesmal führte uns der Weg ins Hotel Gamsleiten. Von Anfang an war ich begeistert. Die Lage des Hotels direkt beim Gamsleiten-Lift und nur 70 Meter vom Lürzer-Schirm entfernt ist nahezu unschlagbar! Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Julia, der Rezeptionistin und charmanten Seele des Hauses, empfangen. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr wohl.
Ein weiteres Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war das Abendessen, bei dem wir täglich zwischen drei köstlichen Menüs wählen konnten. Die kulinarische Vielfalt und Qualität haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.
Nach drei unvergesslichen Nächten war es leider Zeit, wieder nach Hause zu gehen. Doch eines steht fest: Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Das Hotel Gamsleiten hat uns durch seine erstklassige Lage, herzliche Atmosphäre und exzellente Verpflegung überzeugt. Eine klare Empfehlung für jeden, der Obertauern in vollen Zügen genießen möchte!

Sehr herzliches Hotel mit tollem Service und Ausstattung, sehr sauber und komplett modernisiert. Familiäre Atmosphäre einfach zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen bei tollem Essen. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen wieder!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, super Service. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön. Der Pool hat eine sensationelle Aussicht. Piste und Lift sind 5m entfernt. Alles Perfekt 👌🏻

Das Hotel hat wirklich einer der besten Lagen im Ort.
Der neue Außen-Whirlpool mit Blick auf die Piste ist grandios, und auch die anderen Umbauten mit den neuen Kuschelzimmern (haben wir sehr wörtlich genommen), großzügigem Ruheraum, gemütlichem Eingangsbereich mit schönen Ecken zum Verweilen sind wirklich super gelungen. Das Essen ist seit jeher köstlich und die neue Bar ist ein superkommunikatives Platzerl, wo man leicht ins Gespräch kommt.

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber die super Atmosphäre. Nicht nur das Interieur, sondern auch das sympathische und freundliche Team rund um die charmanten Gastgeber Christoph und Julia macht aus dem Hotel einen Platz zum Wohlfühlen!. Alles in allem top - sehr zu empfehlen, vor allem für Paare!
