Hotel Tauernglöckl

Second time I've stayed in town and this hotel was ten times better than the last with a great location and walkable to the lifts and inner part of town!!!! The rooms were great and the guest services were top notch! Highly recommend staying here and I will be there next year for sure!!! Food was amazing and let us stay up and open as long as people wanted to have drinks at the bar! Hospitality was unmatched!

Hotel Tauernglöckl had the best location! Ski in, ski out, right next to all of the ski equipment rental shops and a very short walk to the grocery store and bars and restaurants. They have an amazing spa and the restaurant that is located directly in the building has great service, friendly staff and the best pizza I've had in Obertauern. The hotel staff is very welcoming. I felt like family by the end of the trip. I will definitely stay here on my return visit.

Hotel Tauernglöckl is amazing! The location is perfectly central in the middle of Obertauern and within walking distance of most everything you’ll want in town. The management and staff are all fantastic and made our very large and wild group feel totally welcome and took great care of us. The food in the restaurant is also great. Highly recommend staying here!

Our stay at this hotel was great! We stayed for nine days in a clean and comfortable room. The hotel’s spa facilities have a sauna and steam cabin and were open in the afternoon. Ski and snowboard equipment can be stored in secure lockers which was only accessible for hotel guests. The restaurant serves nice pizzas in the evening. But the best part was the staff, reception and restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming. They really made us feel at home.

The hotel is amazing , providing a great location , amazing staff , clean spacious rooms and a welcoming attitude that can not be beat .
The hotel is only steps away from the lifts and restaurants, stores and apre ski bars.
I will absolutely be back soon .

The restaurant, while boasting delightful options, particularly the scrumptious pizzas, had a slightly limited selection.The breakfast, although on the expensive side, proved to be of excellent quality and added to the overall positive impression of our stay. However, what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service from the hotel staff. Their warmth and attentiveness throughout our visit made it not only comfortable but truly memorable. A highly recommended destination for those seeking a perfect blend of relaxation, culinary delights, and exceptional service.

One standout feature was their thoughtful service—they offered the convenience of storing baggage after check-out, allowing me to make the most of my last day without lugging around bags. Additionally, after a day on the slopes, they provided a convenient space to change out of my ski gear, ensuring a seamless transition from outdoor adventures to the comfort of the hotel. The on-site amenities, including a spa and restaurant, added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend Tauernglöckl for anyone!

Staff here is amazing. Steven and Nadia run a tight ship with a fun atmosphere in the hotel bar and restaurant. Hotel is perfectly located and rooms have all you need.

My friends and I had an absolute blast during the week we spent at Tauernglöckl. The food was delicious, great location for skiing / getting around town, and the staff was simply amazing (thanks again for everything Nadia & Steven!). Can’t wait to come back

Great hotel and restaurant! Convenient location, awesome staff. Rooms a bit small but typical for this area. Everything was super clean and the food was great, both breakfast and the restaurant fare.

Right next to intersport and chairlift - good access to the slope! Also close to a supermarket. Good size of the room, good water pressure, clean, with couple of pans available. No complains!

Perfect location in the center of town. Very close to bars at night. The staff working is extremely welcoming and accommodating. They made my stay in obertauan better than expected.

We had a lovely stay here. The beds were good, our room had enough space. The people who work here are very kind and very helpful. Especially the woman running the breakfast/restaurant really made our week!

Brilliant hotel, the apartment was spacious and had everything needed, including full kitchen equipment. The breakfast was delicious and very varied with plenty of choice, the home made brownies were fantastic and a greay extra touch! Staff in the hotel were lovely and went above and beyond to meet our needs! Thanks again to Vicki and the team we can't wait to see you all again soon!
Came back again this year to the pizzeria, had fantastic food and the staff were brilliant. The bartender made us some fantastic drinks and was very friendly. They also offered great recommendations of places to ski and where to go for lunch on the mountain. It was an amazing experience as always! Thank you so much to you all and I can't wait to come back next year!

Spectacular hotel. We made a mistake with our booking date, and realised only an hour or so before arrival. The staff handled it seamlessly, and made all the arrangements. They organised a late check in for us, our room was clean, spacious and had beautiful mountain views, and breakfast was varied and delicious. Highly recommended!
