Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo Katschberg

Nothing but good things things to say about our stay.

We travelled for about a week during the Peak November school holidays and having been initially worried about location and especially weather during the stay and having to keep 3 kids under 10 entertained we all ended having the best time.

We stayed in one of the apartments in the left tower. Apartment was really spacious, clean, modern and having a big kitchen and dining area was great. The fact on arrival most day to day essential were present meant we werent rushing around trying to figure out what we are having for breakfast straight away.

The tunnel linking the apartments to the hotel is genius especially as it snowed when we were there.

The hotel itself was great, although it was full it never felt crowded. All the facilities were clean and well looked after. The kids club was great and the kids were more than happy to go most days. we all loved the swimmings pools, the sauna and spa facilities were great (shout out to the 4 or 5:30pm aufgus sauna session). Bar area was great and inclusion of kid friendly cocktails was a nice touch.

The Staff were always friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much to ask, have to thank Manuel the assistant manager for going out of way to make sure our stay was as great as it was.

On the whole we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend, location was great, apartment was awesome, Hotel facilities and hotel staff were great.

Best compliment i can give is we travelled with 3 kids under 10 and as the parents actually managed to relax which never happens on most breaks so we will definitely be back.

We planned to stay a week, however we booked additional couple nights.
I had high expectations, as I’ve been in other Falkensteiner hotels and all were met.
Food was excellent, one could always find something to liking. Hot meal at dinner time was exceptional. The portions were big enough for me, my husband could order anytime another one, as this prevents food from getting waisted and my waist line getting bigger. I think this concept is great.
Spa is very nice, kids spa could use some TLC, but that’s already being addressed. One think I was missing was some water and newspapers or magazines in the 5th floor relaxation area.
There are plenty of playing possibilities for kids in and around the hotel. If you’re traveling with children this is definitely a family friendly hotel, for kids of all ages.
We’re planning to come again for our vacation next year.

Comfortable hotel with good food, right near the ski slope.

We are in love with this place. Clean rooms. Friendly staff (we had several issues with kids-room personal, but they were solved very fast). Creative programm for kids. Gourgeouse nature and views. Tasty food and ice-cream paradise for kids. Dogs friendly. Climbing park, Sonnenrodelnbahn, horses. Ask for a local discount card on the reception (they usually forget to mention about it)

We have stayed at the Falkensteiner Cristallo for many years while our children were young and have always been really well looked after. The children's facilities and child care are great and allowed us to relax as adults. The spa is also a very welcome chance to unwind at the end of the day.

A wonderful hotel for family, where the children are the protagonist as their parents!!! Room very confortable and clean, wide choice of food and drinks made whit local products, heated swimming pool in and out, swimming pool whit slide for children, area relax, wellness area for adults and for children too, game rooms,... The hotel is located in a strategic position, excellent in both Summer and Winner!!! Definitely try it!!!

Great room for a family of 5, buffet food all well cooked and delicious, good choice for all meals and kids were always happy. Skiing facilities great and so handy for the posted. We all had a fantastic holiday.

Super hotel for families with children. There is ski-school right in the hotel. Separate kid's and adult aqua zone. Food in the restaurant is very tasty, they change everyday something. It's pretty hot in the hotel (in winter), so take light clothes for being in.

Simply wonderful! Unbeatable price quality, qualified personnel, kind and available, child-size and parent-friendly environments. A week is not enough to explore all the opportunities that the structure makes available. Recommended for families with pets (dogs and cats).
