Quiet location in the village, nice clean rooms with lots of hot water and comfortable beds. Friendly staff, good solid Austrian food and beer and a great price:quality ratio. Exactly as promised, bravo!

Excellent place with superb service and absolutely fantastic food. Whatever you take its fanatic, soup, beef, fish...Service and personnel are so great that they are on another dimension. If you have time, you need to stop for perfection of food and atmosphere. They have rooms if you want to take a rest. WC are very, very clean and comfortable.

On the road to Salzburg stopped in home of finding a supermarket. Instead stopped here for something other than pizza. Everything was delicious, the waitress was very friendly, the salad super fresh, could've had a bit less dressing, but this meal was perfect otherwise🙂 Cappuccino was very good as well!

This hotel is so cozy! Every year we are coming here back with a feeling that we are "coming home". Very friendly staff, very clean and cozy room and hallways, nice sitting area with toys and books for kids and great breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Just come here ones, you will be always coming back!

Located just few minutes from the highway A10 between Salzburg and Villach the Gasthof was for us a perfect overnight stop on our way back home.
This venue is extremely well kept and there is very much attention put into the smallest details.
We had dinner in the restaurant and were impressed about the high quality of the traditional dishes served.
The personal was very professional and friendly. We were for example asked shortly after our online reservation If we have special requirements for our children (baby cot in the bedroom, baby seat in the restaurant).
Expectations were exceeded.

This place is very cosy. It's a family oriented establishment that's been around for about 10 generations. The staff went out their way to ensure that we were well taken care of during our visit. The food was awesome. If you're in the area and you need a place to stay I would highly recommend the Familien-Gasthof Post. No one in our group spoke Austrian or German but the host spoke English very well and she was very nice. The only issue that I encountered was the timing. When we arrived the owners of the establishment and staff members were scheduled to go on vacation. They informed us that they would be closed until the month of May. We were able to stay for two days but after the third day I had to find some place else to stay. The host did assist me in finding another hotel nearby.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Make sure to try things from the daily menu and also the desserts. The restaurant is also very kids friendly and they are adapting to special wishes of the little ones.

The service and food were absolutely fabulous! Rooms were clean, stuff kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!

A real gem hidden in the heart of the alps. All the food was from the local farms and it was just amazing.

Sehr gemütlicher Gasthof und aufmerksames und vor allem nettes Personal! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war wirklich köstlich! Und das Knappenbräu-Bier war ein kleines Highlight, richtig gut 😊

Sehr freundlich Bedienung und auch ein sehr großes Lob an die Küche . Essen ist immer top ! Sehr weiter zu empfehlen .

Einzigartiges Hotel mit sehr netter junior Chefin!!!! Mit einem tollem Personal u einem mega leckerem Essen!
Die Senior Chefin hatte auch für unsere kleinen Wewechen etwas parat.

Wir waren das erste Mal, kommen aber bestimmt wieder!
Absolut zum Empfehlen!

Ein Toller Gasthof, saubere Zimmer, Gutes Essen und Preis Leistung stimmt auch.
Der Katschberg ist ca10min mit dem Auto entfernt, wo man super Schlitten und Ski fahren kann.

Perfekte Location um unser hochzeitsmahl sowie die Party zu veranstalten. Super Team
Perfektes Essen, Zimmer für Gäste vorhanden.
