Berghotel Garni Burgblick

We only stayed for one night and we loved it. The location worked great for us, the view of the mountains & the castle is spectacular, the breakfast was great and varied. The man that runs the hotel is very friendly. The room was super clean and comfortable with a cozy bed. Very clean and the late check in worked perfect for us.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location, the room and the service. My only slight improvement would be for them to have a casual dining area for drinks in the evening as the view is spectacular but the only area where breakfast is served does not appeal to sit in the evening for a drink. That said, 5 stars all round.

Incredible hotel in front of Hohenwerfen castle and just 3 kms from eiariesenwelt, an amazing cave with a visit guide to explore The hotel has an incredible view, great attention from the staff, delicious breakfast and a very confortable room.
This is my third time in the hotel and I pretend to come back.

What an awesome hotel, really can't praise it enough! The location is excellent, the rear view of the mountain & the castle is spectacular, breakfast great, staff friendly, bed & room comfortable, and we've never stayed in such a clean hotel - there was literally nothing to complain about!

Lovely location overlooking a castle. Our room was super clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony off our room that had a great view of the castle. Very close to Eisriesenwelt - we had early morning tickets and this made it very convenient to beat the crowds. Highly recommend!

We have stayed here for one night, on our way home from Innsbruck and we enjoyed the stay here :)

The location is superb, with great views no matter where your room is, but there is quite sloped road. We were here in June, but I wouldn’t come back during winter (but maybe an experienced driver would). It was a very quiet place and lovely to stay outside in the evening. They even have a terrace where you can stay and relax. There isn’t a bar though, only a vending machine, so make sure your bring what you need.
The parking space is huge and the parking places are very generous - I loved this!!!

The room:
- nice, a bit small, but enough. We were up in the mansard, so it can be tricky for a tall person;
- the bed was comfortable, quite large, mostly the pillows and the blankets - were super fluffy;
- I appreciated a lot the fact that we had sweets in the room, water in the carafe, tea and instant coffee!! Also in the wardrobe there were extra blankets - which was nice, but right now - definitely not needed.
- the bathroom was very well prepared, but the shower cabin I think is a bit risky, there is an raised entrance on tiles and that can be quite sloppy after you shower - might require extra attention. But the water temperature and pressure was superb! Very relaxing after a day on the road.

We didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. My overall feedback is 4-4.5, considering the room and the overall cost, but I will give them 5 for the view :)

Amazing location; but be aware that if you are arriving by bicycle, it is a real stout climb up to the hotel, and dinner is not provided.
There is an excellent breakfast, and secure bike storage.

Warm welcome from the staff. The view is great. We spent a very pleasant staying. The room, the restaurant and the facilities are neat, thoughtful and pleasant. Meticulous service at breakfast.

Very good hotel with a perfect view of the castle and surrounding mountains.
Kasper the owner is a perfect host and made us feel very welcome indeed.
He went so far as to drive us and collect us from the train station and local village as we not able to get a taxi.
Breakfast was super fresh with a great selection and the cooked eggs are a thing of legend!

Loved our stay! The view is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The highway is close but the windows are very thick so it‘s not disturbing the sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Had a coffee machine in our room. We are planning to be back!

Great hotel! The view is amazing! The rooms are big and great bathroom and shower!! The owners are super friendly and the breakfast was super! Especially the yoghurt; tastes like it was just made by the local farmer around the corner. The scrambled eggs were 11/10. Seriously best scrambled eggs I’ve had ever.

The view is fantastic to the castle. The breakfast one of the best! The surround area is peacefull, only one problem: the road uphill is crazy hard by bike. But worth it :) Rooms was perfect with balcony and with a nice surprise!
