B&B Simmer

The absolute cutest Bed & Breakfast. The most friendly owners working the front desk & breakfast bar. Delicious selection of foods to choose from that were very filling. Convenient location to visit Obertraun and Hallstat. Very much recommend!!!

My wife, teenage son and I had a wonderful three-night stay at this B&B in the quiet town of Obertraun. Heidi and Hubert are kind, friendly hosts and very helpful guides to local attractions beyond the compulsory visit to lovely Hallstatt. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfasts were generous and delicious.

Very nice hosts, great rooms which are cool in the summer. Good location near the lake and train station. Great German breakfasts and hosts make fresh omelettes for you.

Incredible view's from our room balcony. Immaculate, very high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and comfort.

The hosts were warm, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast had everything you could want, I really couldn't fault it!

100% we would both stay again. Sad to be leaving already.

Perhaps a bias opinion having stayed here but I done plently of research before our trip, I'm convinced this is the best place to stay in all of Obertraun / Hallstatt.

It is run by a husband and wife and both are extremely friendly and nice. It's a very new building so the rooms are all new with modern tile, large walk-in shower and a great balcony with views of the mountains. The beds are very comfortable with outlets next to the bed to charge your phone! We had a great breakfast in the morning with homemade omelettes and eggs, warm rolls, and plenty of other things. The TV worked great with a few channels in English such as BBC and CNBC and others. Plenty of free parking is available to the left or right of the building.

A pleasant B&B with a wonderful host!

The location is just perfect, the bus stand is within a minutes walk. So is the train station and the lake. Ferries and bus go to Hallstatt from here.
The rooms are beautiful with view of the mountains. A little stream runs in the backyard. There is parking just next to the place and also a bike rental.
The breakfast hall has a view of the mountains as well, with a terrace for the summer. The food is fresh and the hostess made us delicious omelettes 😄

Amazing owners, extremely kind and helpful, fantastic location (different ways to get to Halstatt: by bus, by ship, by taxi, by train - just 4km), cosy room with a nice bathroom, beautiful surrounding and delicious breakfast. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit Halstatt and have a perfect accomodation nearby.

So great for traveller who loves to stay in calm house and see beautiful view in balcony. They have nice bikes to ride and also provide nice eggs for breakfast.

Hubert and Heidi were great hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are brand new and well-designed. Location was great, close to Hallstatt, easily accessible by an enjoyable bike ride on a biking trail. Highly recommended

The B&B is beautiful and modern, the location is fantastic, 2 minutes walk from the train station. The family who owns B&B Simmer couldn't have been more helpful or friendly in every way. They have bikes to rent too! I would recommend staying here to anyone!

We stayed at this super friendly and clean B&B this September. We can highly recommend this hotel to any one visiting Obertraun or Hallstatt. We stayed at a nice hotel i Hallstatt one night and were not impressed at all. This place has the friendliest owners and great rooms that were super clean! They can even do laundry for you! Thanks again for your hospitality! 5 stars to this charming place!

We have been traveling for a month and this was one of the most authentic stays we have had. The building is brand new and in a great location. The owners were very nice, the breakfast was incredible, access to bikes was amazing but the hospitality really felt like you were staying with family. The couple that owns and runs this place are very gracious. Being that the building you’re staying in is brand new goes a long way as well, as it feels and smells brand new! You’ll be very happy staying here :)

My Husband and I stayed there for 1 night and we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Heidi and Hubert made us feel welcomed. Fresh omelettes, Crepes and coffee in the morning (yummmm). We rented bikes and rode to Hallstatt in the morning as they suggested and ..wow.. what a beautiful ride it was. We had a flat tire during our ride and Hubert came to the rescue !! ❤❤❤
You can tell they take pride in their business. Rooms were updated and cozy, very clean too! Definitely recommend staying there if you plan a trip to this area

작년에 방문했던 숙소입니다.
비엔나에서 렌터카로 가던 중 요소수 부족으로 도착 시간이 많이 늦어졌었는데 다행히 양해해주셔서 잘 숙박했습니다.
조식은 사장님 부부께서 준비해주세요. 매우 친절하고 음식이 맛있었습니다.
호수 근처라 아침 일찍 산책도 하고 너무 좋았습니다.

Házigazdák nagyon segítőkészek! Minden reggel finom friss reggeli. Kényelmes ágy, szuper ágynemű huzat (csak kispárna nincs). Fürdő tiszta és szép. Lehet náluk kerékpárokat is kölcsönözni. A város hangulatos és csendes! Jobb választás mint Hallstatt. Ott nagy a nyüzsgés és forgalom, de a sóbányát nem szabad kihagyni! Egy hiányosság van; nincs elektromos autó töltő, de saját parkoló igen!

Wat een mooie plek, en wat een gastvrij B&B. So eine schönen Ort. Und ein sehr gastfreundlich B&B.
