Heritage Hotel

This Hallstatt hotel impresses with its warm hospitality and attentive service. The breakfast is delightful, offering both quality and stunning views. The transfer service is smooth, thanks to highly professional drivers. Rooms are elegantly comfortable, and the sauna adds a touch of luxury. Its location near the lake boat station is an added advantage.

The room was spacious and warm. We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning, and both the service and food were amazing. The reception was very helpful too. I would recommend the hotel, but keep in mind not to visit Hallstad in January as most of the places are closed.

We stayed one night, and totally recommend a room with lake view. Watching the sunrise was a beautiful experience that we'll treasure!
staff was also very nice, and I specially enjoyed the hotel's breakfast buffet !

Great hotel but be prepared to walk! We stayed in one of the offsite heritage buildings, it was winding up but George took our bags in a trolley and even carried them up the steps! Julia at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and the restaurant was great! Yes, pay the extra if you can for a room with a view, I doubt you will regret it!

We stayed here for 4 nights, and highly recommend anyone considering a day trip to Hallstatt change and book a stay in this awesome hotel. Slow down and enjoy the area around Hallstatt. The rooms were nice sized and had beautiful views. However, I have to say that what made our stay great was the staff in the hotel restaurant. We booked half board (breakfast and dinner) and every meal was excellent, both the food and the service. To us, it represented an excellent value and would gladly stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

The front staff at reception are super nice, helpful, and patient. I left my backpack on the train. They helped me to call QBB and give advice to me. I am very appreciate what all they have done.

It was mentioned that there is a sauna which we paid with room charges, but while we asked at the reception they said sauna is fully booked. So we should book Sauna in advance if we want.

Great location , we had a deluxe room with the view to the lake , it was stunning, bed is comfortable, pillows could be better, but still fine , sauna is very nice , breakfast too, probably best hotel at Hallstatt

This place is absolutely incredible!!! I stayed at the second building, which is on the list of historic hotels. My room was large & had a pretty view of the town and some of the lake. The bed was comfortable, the room was big, & I got extremely good sleep with a window open letting in the beautiful country air.

I was SO relieved they had a room available last minute (since the place I booked elsewhere in the town through Booking.com fell through). The staff were very friendly & the breakfast was delicious. SO glad I was able to stay there! Highly recommend!

I guess this is one of the nicest hotels you can get in that area. I strongly recommend to pay extra €20 for room with lake view. It is truly astonishing.
On the breakfast there were like 4 different fish ww could choose from, smoked salmon was the best 👍

Rooms and facilities are not modern, but everything was clean and nice.

They provide shuttle service from the parking which is about 1 km away, but you can walk if your bars are not heavy, you will see most of tourist attractions on your way to hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like were church bells 🔔 which went off exactly at 6:00 am. Might be a problem for someone who doesn’t like waking up early in the morning 🙃

We had a wonderful stay. Drove into town and they provided an easy shuttle and all needed directions on how to park. Staff was very helpful, room was clean with a wonderful view. The restaurant in the hotel is wonderful. We had great salads for lunch, and wonderful dinners- I think the most flavorful in the week we spent in Austria honestly. The breakfast included in our stay was also fantastic. We took the ferry ride located 10 steps away from the hotel and got great views of Hallstatt. Overall highly recommend.

An amazing place to stay while visiting Hallstatt. We stayed here as a family of four and the room was facing the lake. Amazing views. The room was huge and modern. The breakfast in the morning was in the cafe downstairs and was good. Best is the location. Can’t beat it.

Hotel is placed near the pier and offers a great view. We stayed for two days and half board.
The food is Michelin star like and very very tasty. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly. Overall a great place.

Stayed 3 days and 2 nights here and it was the most lovely experience. The view from the balcony overseeing the lake is just breathtaking. The room was neat, tidy and clean with the usual amenities, bar fridge, tv with Netflix. The bathroom was ok with loccitane products which was great but also found the shower head is put in an awkward position where the glass screen doesn’t stop the water from going out of the shower. Complementary buffet breakfast is lovely with an abundance of choices. Hotel also has a sauna which you need to book for but is indeed lovely.

Great hotel with a great room, which had a view of the lake. The restaurant and breakfast was very good with locally sourced food. The service was also very good with friendly and helpful hotel staff offering to drive us back to the train station using the hotel shuttle service.

this is the best hotel in Hallstaat. the location is perfect! this hotel offers great view. just next to the church and lake. Staffs are nice and helpfull. we stay 2 night in family room, 2 bedrooms and 2bathrooms. this is our top list hotel in our 23days europe trip.

The best location in Hallstatt. Had dinner at their restaurant. Food is delicious and very decent price point wise for a tourist place like Hallstatt. We got a family suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was way too big for us (only two adults and a child) but not complaining....that was a very nice suite. Amenities are nice at the hotel. Rooms are spacious. Fantastic hotel. Highly recommend to all. I am sure in Summer this is gonna be very expensive. Even in mid-February for 1 night, it was expensive. But a great overall hotel no doubt.

Positive:
- Great view over the lake Hallstatt;
- Pet friendly location. (we stay with our dog and we paid extra 15 euro per night);
- The room is clean, big and comfortable;
- The wi-fi works very well and is secured;
- The breakfast is verry good and you have plenty of foods to choose from;
- The food from the hotel restaurant is very good;
- The hotel staff are very kind and helpful. (at check out they offer us a ride to the parking P1 with their own bus because we missed the city shuttle bus);

Negative:
- The dog can not enter in the hotel restaurant. So we had to take breakfast and dinner in our room, because we don't want to let the dog alone in the room. (you have to notice here that, nobody from the hotel staff will brig you food in the room, you have to take it yourself from the restaurant and bring it in the room using a big tray).

The location and the service are amazing, Javiera is an amazing person and very polite, she made us feel very welcomed.

Unbelievable customer service! Simon and all of the reception staff were top notch. They pay attention to detail and very gracious with all of our requests. The views are amazing and it is truly a winter wonderland. A great place to relax and re-charge our batteries. We are very grateful for opportunity to travel here and it will not disappoint.
