The lady was a life saver ❤

It was a late afternoon, we had a train to catch in 15mins, hungry us walked into this cafe and asked if there's something we can pick up to go, and that we don't eat meat.
She said she could make Pizza Pockets and it'll take around 15 minutes. We said we don't have that kind of a time.
She offered to quickly prepare cheese sandwiches for us, to which we agreed.
The sandwiches were ready in a few seconds, we paid and ran out of the cafe in a hurry.

We later saw her running out of the cafe, saying, "You've left your ticket behind."
I could've never imagined that I had left the train ticket at the counter, and if the lady hadn't given it to us, we were up for a disaster.

I'm so thankful to her for not just filling our hungry tummies but for finding and giving us expensive train tickets and saving us from a fine or a missed train!

Very cool shop and cafe very near the Obertaun station. Owner is very friendly and nice. Cafe has a train theme with booth seats like those in trains. Food selection ia slightly limitwd but what they have- they do it well. Had the meatloaf sandwich, which waa delightful and the apple strudle was not too sweer and coolinh-just nice for a warm day

A hidden gem. Take a train-ride picture here!! The inside of this little cafe is purely whimsical and delightful! The owner's wife personally saw to the design and decorations. I had a lot of fun taking selfies in the "train seat with the Hallstatt lakeview window". And the goulash... DELICIOUS!!!

Friendly owner and the only store that is opened on Sunday morning providing food. Although the store was closed when we arrived there, the owner let us in and offered breakfast. The decorations are amazing and the atmosphere is also relaxing

A wonderfull spot to start your 2.5h walking journey to Dachstein Mountain, 5fingers/icecave. The lady who owns it is an amazing soul. Her english is so good and her energy was so catching. We just loved it. We felt really welcome ♡

Nice Shop very useful owners. Perfect when you visit Hallstatt by train, because you can store your luggage and buy water ice cream and some "Leberkassemmerl"

Nice cosy place for a hot coffee and Leberkäse while waiting for the train which is very nearby. Friendly service and helpful advice for visitors.

Im Mammut Express muss man gewesen sein! Tolles Café, herzliche und immer gut gelaunte Besitzer, super Lage, urgemütlich und bester Leberkäse und Kaffee!

Großartig, wenn man auf den Zug warten muss, hier noch schnell ein Bier zu trinken. Aber auch sonst einen Besuch wert.
