One of the most beautiful places in the world!! The lake is so magical and the water is super clear. The air is super clean. The silence in this place is a blessing ❣
There is a cute restaurant on the side of the lake where you can grab a bite and a drink.
I'm definitely coming back 😌

When you want to leave the crowd of Hallstatt behind you this is a good option. The beach was very clean. Even though there is no real sand beach.
There is a playground for kids and some float le islands you can use for playing.

The view on the mountains and landscape is awesome. We really loved the place. Especially since it wasn't crowded at all.

We had a great time at this beautiful location. Great for swimming, very clean with park and water games for kids, restaurant (cash only), ice cream kiosk and boat hire service. You get all the facilities you need like changing rooms and toilets and there is also parking. Great place for a picnic and swimming. The whole family had a great time. Highly recommended.

Awesome views, clean water, better to be here then in Hallstatt. My kids definitely enjoyed it a lot 👌

Perfect view. There's also a bar, wc and a lot of activities like a trampoline on the water.

Nice food and breath taking views

It's a very large area with a breath taking view, with parks for the children and barbecues for adults, as well as boat piers, pizzerias, etc.

Great place to dip yourself in the lake. There is a spacious parking right next to the beach. The beach itself is covered with grass that makes sunbathing comfortable. There is also a beach bar/restaurant and WC with showers publicly accessible for visitors.

Fantastic free swimming area - freew showers, changing rooms and toilets.

Near to Hallstatt with serene beauty.. not much commercialized.
Valley look breathtaking.

We stayed nearby and came here a few times as a big family group.

The lake itself starts fairly shallow with small stones on the bottom so good for little kids padding. There's also a metal slide in the shallows. There was a floating trampoline and an inflatable ice berg further out.

There's plenty of grassy space to lie down or chuck a Frisbee about. Small playground as well as a skate park and a sand football pitch.

You pay for parking but the Strandbad itself is open and free.

Small cafe that wasn't great but did the job.

Drop by here for a moment to relax your mind with epic mountains and green clear lake views. It is differently worth it, 10 minutes walk from obertraun station

Breathtaking views by the feet of gorgeous mountains, where the lake allows you to enjoy the refresing swim.

We only stopped here with our bikes on our way to Hallstadt but enjoyed our short stay. View is of course spectacular and the water is cool and fresh.
