Beyond expectations! Absolutely fabulous stay. Great location, privacy, spectacular accommodations and the breakfast was special and delicious. Highly recommend and would love to stay again. Charming town and above all, the level of service was outstanding!! Exceeded our expectations for our one night stay. Felt like home but in a fairytale setting with astute history. A true gem and a must experience. Appreciated every aspect and detail of our room!!!!

If I have the opportunity to return to Hallstatt, I will visit this accommodation again. Thank you to the staffs for the arrangements and breakfast, everything was great.

By the way, when going to Hallstatt, remember to bring enough cash, as most shops/restaurants do not accept credit/debit cards.

Hallstatt hideaway is such a beautiful place to stay, stunning view and stylish decor, it felt clean and warm. Roshani is very friendly and helpful. Silke replied me by emails back and forth, very helpful as well. Highly recommend to stay here for a night to explore beautiful Hallstatt.

Excellent service and superb view from the room; room is also clean with all the necessary amenities including heater, air-dryers, coffee-machine, etc. Can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of the room. Host Sandra also very helpful throughout the stay as well!

Easily one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Cozy, quiet, and in a authentic Austrian cottage. Views of the lake were breathtaking. The sauna was gorgeous and a great way to end a day of hiking. Breakfast delivered to the room was fantastic. HIghly recommended. 2 minute walk from the center of town.

We absolutely loved our experience at Hallstatt Hideaway and can't recommend this place highly enough. To start, our experience with Sandra was great. She was very accommodating and let us leave our bags/use the restroom before and after checkout. She personally prepared our room to assure everything was perfect for our stay. Our room was absolutely amazing. The views were breathtaking and the attention to detail with the decor made it so cozy - we didn't want to leave! We can't wait to come back and stay at Hallstatt Hideaway longer! If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay in Hallstatt with amazing views, I recommend staying here.

Hallstatt Hideaway is truly the most incredible hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are exceptional, the suites are truly 5-star luxury, and the experience is unlike any other you will find in Hallstatt. If you are considering visiting Hallstatt, we highly recommend this amazing hotel. Sandra and the staff are exceptional, and the experience was one-of-a-kind. The Luxury Suite SEE fully met my expectations.
To take a bath in open air with a magnificent view on the lake and mountains is really good.
The host is nice, I am grateful for the bottle of wine at my wife's birthday.

We stayed for 1 night and had the most amazing experience. The balcony view and the room were even more beautiful in real life , and checkin was seamless. We could probably spend hours in the hot tub just admiring the view. The room was very well maintained and clean. Shoutout to Sandra and Tika for the fantastic and warm service, we enjoyed every bit of our stay here :)

What a wonderful stay! The views from our terrace and jacuzzi were spectacular! Sandra could not be a more helpful, friendly and accommodating host. The penthouse is lovely, but rated down one star due to the bedroom being up a ladder-like narrow staircase and bathrooms located on the level below. The trade-off may be worth the benefits though. Decor and furnishings are comfortable and well designed. Bathroom is large and elegant. Two terraces open off the living area, both with amazing views. The jacuzzi terrace is private. A delicious breakfast was served in our suite. Halstatt is such a charming town, but not for those with mobility issues, as there are no taxis and luggage must be hauled from the port. Highly recommend Halstatt Hideaway.

My wife and I had a one night stay at Hallstatt Hideaway during a somewhat whirlwind 2 week vacation through Central Europe. We went out of our way to visit this beautiful village, and the Hideaway was the perfect setting in the middle of town, with great views of the lake and mountains from every window. The hosts were very helpful with check in and finding the hotel in this pedestrian only village, as well as with dinner recommendations.

My stay at Hallstat was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel’s elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. With its convenient location and outstanding service, Hideaway has quickly become my go-to choice for accommodations whenever I travel to the area. 5 star!” - They seemed to be short of staff but in general , fantastic experience.

I booked my stay fairly last minute and could not be happier! The ladies at Hallstatt Hideaway are kind, thoughtful and genuinely wonderful people. They even went out of their way to make my birthday breakfast extra nice.

We stayed at the penthouse. Check in was a breeze by contacting Sandra. Staff receiving us were polite and helpful. Location was ideal as main attractions were minutes away by walking. Although I won't recommend if climbing stairs is a concern. Bathtub was exceptional but jacuzzi wasn't quite warm enough for an autumn evening. Check out was a breeze and do remember to call ahead to book the shuttle in advance.

We had a wonderful stay at Hallstatt Hideaway. The room was very comfortable with a gorgeous view. We loved the large patio and hot tub. The location was also great as it was right off the main street, so you were close to everything but able to get away from the crowded areas. A big thank you to Astrid and Sandra who made our stay so amazing! They both were so professional and helpful. We are already wanting to come back for another holiday soon. We would highly recommend this stay for anyone!

Views from our rooms were incredible. Individually decorated rooms with terraces, modern furnishings,
and comfortable beds. Sandra was a wonderful host!! Loved the private garden on the lake. Renting a boat on the lake is a must. Hope to return to Hallstatt again.
