Hallstatt Parking P2

Behind the gas station, there is a free parking lot for motorcycles.
The entrance is between the gas station and the camping van parking lot.

Went early Sunday morning 8:30 plenty of spaces came back at 11 am and they were queuing to get in when one car was going out

Arrived at 9am during spring school holidays - still had 100 spots left. At 10am there were no spots left (still 100 left at p1)

It's in very good place. Close to city, attractions and the cabel car. Contact-free practical parking arrangements, you pay as much as you spend there. I can only recommend.

Perfect parking for having a "quick" view of Hallstatt.
4€ for the first hour, 3€ more for the second.

Safe space to park the car while exploring Hallstatt, we parked for 5 hours, paid 10 euros. We came around 10 am, there were only a few spots left.

Very convenient close to the city

A parking place close to the Salzwelten ticket office and the lift station to the salt mine. Also close to the Hallstatt city center. Price OK - i.e. what you would expect for a attractive tourist destination. We arrived around 9.00 am and there were still a lots of parking spots. But it got worse during the day. So it is good to arrive early to be able to park your car there.

Parking lot really close to the center of Hallstatt.
Price is high but that's expected for such an iconic village. At the entrance gate you get some kind of parking tag like an RFID coin. When you are about to leave you just use the coin to pay the price of your stay. So you pay for the exact minutes / hours of your stay.
We arrived at the parking lot around 10:15 on a Thursday morning. There were about 15 remaining parking spaces left.

Convenient parking. Short walking distance to the main attraction point. In the entrance you get a small chipped coin. And you make payment and check out with that coin. Keep it safe. I saw some people prefering P1 parking place more but considering number of available spots P2 is better.

Convenient position, beautiful surrounding, reasonable pricing.

Better location than P1. Closer to cable car and visitor center and entrance to hallstat. After 10am it will overflow. 930am still have spots.

Good position. Very crowded but In morning is easy to find a parking place.

Good location next to the Funicular to the Salt Mine. prices were fair and it was easy to park in. Full sun though, which sucks on a hot day. BUT you MUST get here early in the summer if you are hoping for a spot. Parking is in high demand from visiting tourists.

A little weird but efficient. The check-in machine dispenses a little yellow coin that apparently has an RFID tag. You hold on to the coin until you return to the lot and put it into a machine that tells you how much you owe. Once you pay, you get the coin back and put it into the machine that lets you out.
