Loved our stay at polreich! No front desk which we thought was odd at first, but it was a perfect stay and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Also some of the most beautiful breakfast I’ve ever had…and the views were great!

I have NO idea how this place is rated as a 3.8 at the time of writing this. This stay was absolutely amazing for so many reasons. If you are between a few options just go ahead and stop your search and chose here. Heres why:

-Extremely private and safe access
-Quiet and in between both parts of Hallstatt for every need you might have
-They bring you breakfast into your room every morning so you can eat while enjoying the beautiful view
-The big windows open up for the cool lake breeze
-Everything is modern and new!

This place is really cosy as it is beside the lake area. The food is great and price reasonable.

The serving crew is polite and really helpful. As the weather is good we took a table at the small veranda.

The restaurant has great view, great food, and great service! The male restroom has the best view I ever seen. It’s also good for baby for providing baby changing table.

The most important thing is that my 2y2m get febrile convulsion in Hallstatt, and the staff in the restaurant help us call the ambulance and give a wet towel for my son. I really really appreciate them!!!!

Perfect place for the weekend: so quiet and with perfect view on the lake. The room is thought out to the smallest detail (yoga mat, umbrellas). Personal was very kind and helpful. Thank you for the best stay!

Nice food here with great views of the lake. Will be a good break stop from all of the walking. Most food from the menu was sold out by 3pm. Service team was really good. Only cash is accepted here so prepare some cash please.

The food here was honestly not the worse and most expensive when tourist traps are concerned. After reading the reviews I was apprehensive, but the waiters were generally quite friendly (except 1 who has a perpetual RBF), food was actually very good and the view was to die for.

With a venue like that of course it's gonna have a tourist trap feel but it really was nothing different from the rest of Hallstatt anyways. I'm glad I went there, the trout I had was so yummy!

Here we had most delicious Vienna pork steak, even more tasty than Vienna restaurant! We also order fish salads is very fresh! You could sit outdoor with relaxing lake view...!

My wife and I stayed at Polreich for 1 night. Polreich is situated right at the edge of Lake Hallstatt. The view from our hotel is simply breathtaking! The hotel is very new and clean. It also comes with a fridge and Nespresso machine, perfect for coffee lovers like me.

Philipp has also been a great host! Through him, we learnt that Polreich used to be restaurant. However, he decided to convert it to a B&B hotel and it was only opened in Aug this year. Would highly recommend to stay here for a night or two!
