This is the iconic landmark church you see from the Hallstatt panoramic view point. This is the structure that gives the unique picture postcard view to Hallstatt.
Hallstatt Lahn is the place where the bus halting place is located. Everybody coming to Hallstatt via bus, comes to this place. This is where the stroll along the lake shore starts. Church is about a 10 mins walk along the walkway.
You can walk in and see the interior or get to upstairs and take part n a Mass.

In Hallstatt you can visit the salt mines, very famous by the way, get lost in the alleys which makes the experience unique and exclusive, eat in traditional restaurants - oh, a meal with fresh fish from the lake costs around 30 euros but it's worth it the experience if you are a person who enjoys discovering the local culture. One of the important points of the village is the beautiful and charming Lutheran church that highlights the beauty of the place, It's worth getting to know it inside. Everything there is magical and fascinating, without a doubt I chose the best place to spend Christmas this year.

The focal point of everyone’s photos, the church proudly stands on the edge of the Hallstatter See. In the back of this church is a small park with some benches.and an amazing view on to the lake and the Alps.

I guess one of most visiting and popular places in Hallstatt to get some photos. Anyway creates special atmosphere with mountain and cute little town on the background. Worth visiting, but find a point to see it from the high.

Also nice looking church. Looking better on the outside as on the inside. Inside is very simple but old church. Placed directly on the lake. Was very nice visiting it. For every recommendation.

One of the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life. Get a bike and ride around. Enjoy the small town as well as the amazing surroundings.

You will see the church from everywhere at Hallstatt.

We went there on a cloudy day, but the scene was still great.
Found it hard to get a parking slot because all of the Parking are full.
We walked along the lake and enjoy every moment of the romantic village Hallsastt.

It’s a historical church with big hall in the center of Hallstatt. Most of the tourist visit it due to his awesome external looking and its history. There is a small graveyard outside near the main gate of the church as you can see in the picture but really don’t understand why they buried here in front of Church.
