What an amazing place to open a restaurant, with one of the best views of the incredible Hallstatt See. I tried pasta Alfredo with pesto sauce, French fries, and hot chocolate.

Each item was freshly prepared using top-notch ingredients and was really delicious. I spent around 45 minutes here and really enjoyed my food with a heavenly view. I would definitely recommend visiting this place on your way to Salzwelten or in Halstatt.

Yes, the prices are for sure going to be a few dollars more pricy than normal, but Jesus christ just look beyond the railing and you'll see exactly why that is.

Having a turkey schnitzel with some of the best potato salad I've ever had while drinking a nice hefeweizen & looking out into the alpine landscape has to be one of my favorite vacation experiences ever, and I found the food quality to be pretty damn good.

I'd personally recommend to strictly stick to the schnitzel, as there seems to be a consensus that the roasted pork/goulash is pretty bland (which I also agreed with) but that still didn't dampen the overall experience in my view at all.

Quite long time waiting for free table, however, Enjoying the delicious food with an amazing view is worth the waiting time. Waiters are very friendly, they have good selection of traditional dishes. Short waiting time after ordering.

A very nice restaurant in the top of Hallstatt, the food was excellent, and the service was fast with a great waiter who was serving us with a good smile “Thank you” , the view was priceless. The restaurant was located in the top of the sky deck

Only stopped here for a drink - great views. Cash payment unless over €15

The restaurant has the best view ever. The food is very good but there are not nearly enough waiters, so prepare for a longer waiting time.

Amazing view from the restaurant. Very nice and friendly waiters. Cocktails are delicious, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Food portions are large. The dessert was very tasty. I recommend, you won't regret it.❤

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch here with breathtaking view of the landscape. Food was great, service was nice. Since it might be crowded, it’s nice to offer to share the table if you have a group of fewer than 4 people.
We expected it’d be expensive but it only costed us around 40 euro ❤

Best restaurant in town, I guess. With a spectacular view. This is a must when you go up to the salt mine. Don't miss it.

Sad thing about Hallstaat is that tourists often have unreasonable expectations service wise. This isn’t your local Arby’s, a fast food 5 minute service or a fast-paced 5-star restaurant with tons of staff. I had a chat with the waiter, their capacity is 130 people. The mountain regularly receives 3 000, and obviously, there is no other restaurant at the top. People will then come back here on Google and complain about having to wait for a seat, slow service and this and that. These people are doing everything they can in overcrowded conditions.

At the end of the day, the service, view, food & drinks are well worth it. You’re on vacation in Hallstatt, relax and stop putting unreasonable pressure on staff. Rudolfsturm is worth it.

This place would be getting 5 stars just for the view alone

The food is traditional Austrian, very tasty and filling. Service was prompt and polite but the highlight that overwhelms everything else is the view! I can't imagine a more exquisite place to eat lunch and relax with a glass of wine of Beer.it is the best place to enjoy a meal after the visit of the salt mine

Just having a cup of coffee at the only cafe on the Skydeck left me with an unforgettable experience that will last a lifetime: It is such a beautiful place with a magnificent view! I was also extremely impressed with the staff's friendliness and hospitality. If you're visiting the Skydeck, don't miss out on this place! (From an Australian tourist who exchanged 5 Australian dollars with a delightful staff!)

Amazing views with a cheerful atmosphere bring you to this restaurant, and the fact that the food is great is just the cherry on top. For a spot at the top of the mountain I knew it was would a great outdoor dining experience but the food was very solid as well. Really good schnitzel!

After a day of walk and visit to the Salt mine it was a great resting point. We had beef soup for start. Then pork schnitzel with potato salad and roasted pork with sour cabbage and bread dumpling. And small mixed salad. With lemon and soda, ice tea and coffee. Price was 66 euros. Beneath the restaurant it is the glorius SkyWalk.
