Schloss Fuschl

There are not enough stars to offer this property! It was absolutely the most beautiful property that we have stayed. We have been to many resorts/spas and non come close to this gem. Service is beyond spectacular! From valet, reception, Norbert the concierge, all restaurant staff, even the gift shop personal were fabulous! Everyone that we encountered made us hate to depart this magical place. Don’t shy away from eating in the bar. The food was delicious, drinks were made perfectly. Views from every window were breathtaking. Rooms are spot on A+ service, clean and comfortable. They do NOT miss a beat anywhere. We already checked availability for our next visit only to find they will be closing for a long period of time for renovations. Can not imagine what has to be renovated at this pristine palace!! We will be back and honestly can not wait! Thank you for making Salzburg our new favorite destination

Amazing weekend! The staff here is unbelievably helpful and kind. The room had a fantastic view and was well decorated. Only negative was the dinner service. We arrived at 8pm and didn’t leave until 10:30 not because we wanted to but because the service was very slow. I don’t mean the wait for food either, for example we were sat and didn’t receive menus for 10min. But overall amazing hotel.

I have stayed several top hotels in the chain around the world , this is by far the best in the best, (actually I haven’t even finished my stay yet). The experience is just fantastic, the hotel is located in a quite decent place on an half island, beautiful. More importantly the staff, service is outstanding before I arrive and upon arriving and during the whole stay. I haven’t seen a team so consistent, caring and really put all my requests as priorities and delivered really high quality. Don’t want to list all the details but the experience so far is truly beyond my expectations and my family really enjoyed the new year even during pandemic. Will come back!

The hotel staff is polite, helpful, welcoming and will ensure you will miss nothing.
The hotel facilities are beautiful, the spa area is clean and calming. The food is excellent, especially breakfast ( best eggs benedict I have ever tasted), most important is the view.

There is a dock by the lake and a nice hiking trail to the town on the other side of the lake.

We stayed here in September of 2021. The resort could not be more picturesque. The location is simply astounding with a breathtaking lake and surrounding mountains. There is also easy access to walk straight onto a lovely 3 mile walking trail around the lake.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Everything was professional and quickly done.

I used Marriott Bonvoy points and found it to be a really good value for the points. We got free breakfast (which was extremely good) as a Platinum/Titanium member, and the overall perks were great. They had the ability to use classic BMW or Mercedes convertibles for free to drive around the area which was a super pleasant surprise. They also refilled the free mini fridge daily with fresh beers, sodas, juices, and waters.

The food at the restaurants (and room service) was excellent if a bit expensive, but not crazy for the location.

I can't recommend it enough (especially using Bonvoy points).

Everything is amazing at the Resort. Staff is very helpful, the lake is beautiful, and you get great views from the dining area and rooms. The spa, pool, and hot tub are also awesome facilities. The restaurant is also superb. All in all if I could give more stars I would.

I was there in May 2019 with friends. We had lunch in the hotel dinning room just in front of the lake. Amazing place, building, sorroundings, views, staff, and food, everything was stunning!

Wonderful location, great staff who couldn’t do enough for you. If you want peace and quiet and amazing views this is the place to go. I will return again one day. It has its own private beach area with a bar. The restaurant over looks the lake. The hotel is a Marriott Bonvoy with the Sheraton up the hill out of view. There is underground parking which is chargeable or a small amount of above ground free parking.

an absolutely amazing location. The luxury hotel has a great terrace with view about the lake. It is possible to eat or drink coffe there even if you dont stay as a guest in the hotel. Prices of course are 5 star, a single Espresso is about 5 Euros, but the view is priceless!! please be aware that you visit a luxury hotel, so pay attention to your wardrobe. Not too leisure, at least a nice shirt and good shoes. Otherwise you will feel under dressed. It is a wonderful quiet and exclusive place. If you are prepared well, you will enjoy the Atmosphere a lot!!

Here heritage meets modern era; this hotel which is a converted palace/ Schloss ist just located at the center of Mondsee.
The Schlosshotel is located in the premises of the oldest Benedictine monastery in Austria and combines traditional with modern elements in their overall decor.
Guest service is amazing and equally amazing breakfast. Staffs are super kind and friendly. I think this hotel makes an amazing wedding venue.

After experiencing all the available services, one wrong word cannot be said. Combining Austrian nature with a luxurious touch, first-class approach from the staff and perfectly prepared dishes is an unimaginable experience until you visit this five-star Schloss Fuschl fairytale area.

The building is quite beautiful and luxurious in a traditional style and architecture. The view though, that is a must see! If you go into the restaurant and out the terrace you have an amazing view of the lake! I 100% recommend having a coffee there. The prices are quite big in terms of food, but the drinks are quite ok.

A true gem and fabulous place to unwind and relax. The spa is terrific. Being in the outdoor hot tub felt terrific tonight as a cool drizzle mists on you from over the lake. Close to Salzburg but away from the noise and commotion. The food is locally sourced and delicious.

We stay at this hotel in the early September. It is located on a hill over looking a lake. I think some bishop or some Austrian nobel used to live here.

Service is good but there aren’t much of food options around this area so you will have to drive out. It is a good stop to visit Salzburg. And the best thing is not crowded.

A nice thing about this hotel is that some room’s tile are heated!

This place is awesome!! It is a great hotel, and a former palace. If you are in Salzburg area (its about a 20 min drive away) it is the perfect place for a getaway or romantic vacation.

A home away from home. We stay in this resort whenever visiting family in Salzburg and enjoying the region's lake area. Great place to stay for hikes, sightseeing, outdoor sports, concerts, theater - all while in the bliss and serenity of this hideaway gem, ducked away on a peninsula on a pristine mountain lake. Just 20 minutes from Salzburg city, a bit over an hour from Munich and two hours from Vienna. Keep driving south of here via Lake Wolfgang to the southern alps of Austria, and over passes into Italy and onto Venice. If you love old castles, serenity, culture and sophisticated service in the midst of enchanting landscapes, this is it.

Im so sad, that the hotel will be closed now for a year. We've been there yesterday for a spontaneous visit, only to learn about the renovation. Once it reopens, i will definitely come again!

Wonderful peace of earth with amazing views and extraordinary staff.
Food and service in the restaurant very attentive and focused on the “small things” which really makes the difference!
Highly recommended to spend a few days out here to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding of lake Fuschl.

Schloss fuschl is a great five stars luxury hotel in salzburg, with a very professional staff. And great surrounding area.

I was there for my birthday trip. I enjoyed every second in there.

The breakfast at Schloss restaurant was more than perfect. The view was very nice and relaxing, try the scrambled eggs at the breakfast.The stroganoff and schnitzel are very tasty. And the staff was very nice and very friendly, always smiling.
( I must admit that the whole staff in this hotel are professional and very friendly).

Since I was the in my birthday, everyone congrats me, and I received some chocolates at the evening with happy birthday note, it meant a lot to me. I do appreciate it.

And You must try the hot chocolate in the evening at the outside setting area, the view is breath taken, enjoy it with blanket to kerp you worm, its one of the best. It goes perfectly with the desert.

Definitely I will come back.

We love this place. It's our favourite hotel and perfect for special anniversary trips. Nothing is too much trouble; the staff are helpful and always well presented. We’re saving for our next stay.
