Granatalm

Had a nice lunchbreak there. Ordered a Burger with potato wedges and a Whisky Red Bull. It was fast served and delicious. The hut's interior looks cosy, modern (very clean as well), beautiful and is perfect to relax.
Price was alright.
The hut is easy to reach and right next to the gondolas. I advise to go there for lunch at around 11:30am, before most people arrive

Restaurant on top of the mountain. Very big terrace for lunch and drinks in the sun in the summer. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a modern and well decorated place. There are plenty of things to do during warm summer days and there are shows and music to entertain the guests. Also recommended for a quick bite to eat!

This was our first stop for a drink on the mountain when skiing, and it was a great find. We only had beers and coffees but they were really good and served by friendly staff.
We had a great table in full sun.
The location is central and convenient and the whole place was clean, warm and tidy with a traditional feel but all the modernities you expect in Austrian ski resorts.

Expensive as everywhere uphill but really good food. Burger with fries is the best money / value.

Gulash soup is good but nothing special for 7.50EUR

Radler is from barrel. Even though it is really good it is not original Radler (beer+sprite)

Pancake with apple mix is also good and it will feed you well.

Food is good, service is quick, the view obviously great!

Been here at a wedding! It is literally the BEST wedding location you can imagine !! An amazing view to all sides as located on the top, sunny until late, beautiful landscape and cows come close to the windows and are all around. Kitchen and food - wow! Amazing food! Great drinks and amazing quality of the alcohol! Super wedding location, best service ! Thanks a lot !!!

A modern restaurant on top of the hill with a big variety of food. The real Austrian cuisine at its best, with an awesome view included. Perfect restaurant!

The Granatalm is in a class of its own! The astonishing building and its setting at 2000m above sea level in the midst of the breathtaking Zillertal mountain ranges offers a spectacular, almost 360 degree panorama, that makes you want to watch forever. Throughout the time i spent there, I always felt welcome and very well taken care of. The hosts, Christa and Georg, are very nice and attentive to their guests well-being and their team is friendly and professional. The food is absolutely fantastic and offers a wide range for every taste, be it a traditional tyrolean dish or something more exotic: whatever your choice, you won't be disappointed!
So should you happen to come to Zillertal, for skiing or hiking, make sure to visit the Granatalm and experience a very welcome, unique and quality alternative to mass-tourism!

Most of the places are self service. The good is fresh cooked and a huge menue from steaks to germknödel. I had the käsespätzle and they were awesome!
