Hotel Seerose

A wonderfully located lakeside hotel has genius loci. The professional high level staff were friendly and made me feel at home. The cuisine and service was beyond my imagination and any experience I've ever had. It is no exaggeration to say, that the food was top notch. The pool, the sauna, cozy rooms, every single detail and everything here was just wow. Too bad I can't rate this place 10 stars.

As an ex Food and Hotel Inspector, I really rate this Hotel. It is run by a young couple and their delightful little daughter. We were met at Salzburg Airport and transferred free of charge to the Hotel, a trip of about 30 mins. The scenery en route was stunning and the reception on arrival was warming. The complimentary glass of "fizz" set the tone for our holiday. We were booked into their Tower Room for 7 nights on a half-board basis. The lift delivered us to the 1st floor and room 104. It a large and airy room facing south over the lake with a balcony large enough for a table and two chairs. The sun comes onto the balcony at about 9.30am and disappears behind the mountain opposite at about 4.15pm. The view across the lake is spectacular and changes daily.
There was a large en-suite bathroom with bath and over bath shower. The towels were white and fluffy and the room service unobtrusive. The bed was large and very comfortable with feather pillows.
Breakfast was a lovely choice of cereals, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, smoked salmon or scrambled egg with sausages. The bread and rolls were delightfully fresh and came in all shapes and sizes.
The evening meal was normally 5 courses. I have attached sample menus. The quality of the food was exceptional so compliments to the Chef. The lager is from Salzburg and the wine list features local wines which are on the dry side.
The hotel itself is right on the edge of the lake and makes a perfect spot for the local walks. Buses run to Salzburg every 30 mins and a Friekart ticket costs 19 euros which covers the return journey for 2 adults and children under 15 years.
This is a wonderful example of a beautiful family run hotel which deserves your support. We will be returning and will recommend to anyone who will listen.

My mother and I stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Complementary Wine upon arrival, high quality, fresh and delicious food for both dinner and breakfast with wonderful presentation and service. Beautiful view of the lake from anywhere on the property. Great pool and sauna and private beach. It was a relaxing pleasure to stay here and hope to return again someday. Thank you! Dining by the sea. Incredible food, coffee, and amazing service, even when swamped with customers. Our drinks came super fast, within minutes, and our deserts minutes after. We did not stay at the hotel so I cannot comment on that, however it does look classy and nice from what I saw.

Probably the most approachable friendliest staff of all time, nothing was an issue and they approached everything with a smile. Right on the lake. Food was great, pool has an incredible view of the lake and the rooms were large and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and attentive staff. The food was absolutely delicious, not only by taste but in how it was presented on the plate. As we all start eating with our eyes first. My stay was very pleasant and all my request were happily executed. I can only recommend this hotel by location and by my own experience of being well treated. At the end of my stay the owner came to personally say goodbye, something that does not happen in London. Very special.

Our holiday at Hotel Seerose was fantastic! The hotel is lovely and the food is superb and amazing. The Schocher Family and all the staff made sure that our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. They went out of their way to provide tasty gluten-free meals for our daughter. We will definitely make sure to stay there again..Thanks again for a memorable stay there in Fuschl!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. The views on the lake are breathtaking, the staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the cleaning service is excellent. Eating at the restaurant is an amazing experience because of the delicious food and friendly staff. The swimming pool and spa facilities are very nice and we also enjoyed the open air swimming pool nearby. Hotel Seerose is absolutely fabulous!

We stay here for 2 nights. Breakfast and Dinner was fantastic. Staffs are friendly and done they job well. Bed is comfortable. Pool is a bit too cold but my daughter love it. Nice location and view. Strongly recommended

My wife and I have just got back from a memorable Christmas holiday at the hotel Seerose in Fuschl am See. There isn't a bad thing to be said of this hotel or it's staff, in fact the way we were treated from the time we arrived was of the highest standard.
The food at this establishment is on a par of a Michelin starred restaurant.
I cannot thank the owners and staff of this hotel enough for their hospitality, which made our stay most comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you so much.

I had a great meal here and there really weren't too many options in town. The pumpkin soup and salmon were presented so well and had a ton of flavor. Also you cant beat the view!

Nice hotel beautifully located directly by the lake Fuschl with a comfortable own beach. Delicious food in restaurant. The owners and staff very friendly and helpful.

good wide bett, good breakfast, nett waitreses. Unfortunately is not possible reach or leave your room per stairs... nothing for waightwatchers :-)

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful sunset. The food was fantastic and the waitstaff were perfect.
