Alexanderhütte is one of our most favorite huts, we have stayed here four times now, and every time is very special. The views are magical, the food is just amazing (everything is made from scratch and from the freshest products), and the owners and staff are super helpful and friendly! This place was just awesome! The food was extremely delicious and full of local touches and fresh ingredients.

The location and view is breathtaking also easily accessible. The price was logical.

The staff were fast, attentive and friendly! Highly recommended. 🤗😊

Simply great if you know what to expect regarding the rooms. The rooms themselves are clean and cosy but there is only 1 toilet and shower per floor.
Besides that the service is simply great. Very friendly and helpful beyond what can be expected.
And the food... Rarely I have found nothing to complain. Breakfast is a choice of sausages and cheese plus home made bread. Dinner is a choice of local dishes and daily changing specials.
Having dinner with a view is worth a stay.

Cozy mountain hut in a great location! The views from the restaurant are awesome! The food is good and organic, they owners are friendly and helpful.

Such a nice view. It is possible drive to the Schweigerhütte and walk easily up. Also possible for kids and with a Kinderwagen.

The Alexanderhütte is a stunning place to visit after a light hike from different starting points. It has a breathtaking view, on good days you can even see the Millstätter a couple of hundread meters below. The food is also worth a visit. Try traditional Carinthian/Austrian food like Kaiserschmarren, Frigga or simple Fleischnudeln.
