CSA Skischule Silvia Grillitsch

Brilliant ski school. We booked 4 x 2 hour private lessons as complete beginners for our family. We stayed at Das Tauernherz and were picked up outside the hotel by the ski school (who are also based here too). Erik & Jacob were brilliant teachers. Patient, kind & great advice. Our kids age 9 and 12 loved them and so did we! The last day was spent on the slopes behind our hotel. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you

We were a first time ski family holiday. We had our 2 children in the ski school - thanks to Bernadette and Guus who looked after our children all week. I also had lessons from Martin who is the kindest and exceptionally encouraging instructor who managed to get me skiing again after c25 years of not skiing. Each day we were picked up and dropped off numerous times by the school who were simply amazing. I recommend this school for children and adults alike.

Extremely friendly and competent ski trainers: we had 2 children of 4 and 6 years old, they were taken very good care of and the progress was visible every day. The best advantage for us was that the ski school has many trainers and are able to organize many different groups and as soon as some children make progress they are moved to another higher level group directly the day after. So this ensures that fast learners can learn at their speed, while slow learners receive the extra care they deserve. Strongly recommended!

Tamas is a fantastic ski instructor. He’s very patient and kind. He provided extremely helpful tuition and guidance on the technical aspects of skiing. My skiing ability and confidence improved so much under his instruction. If I could give 10 stars to Tamas I would. Best ski instructor I’ve ever had.

Christmas was my third time skiing with your lovely instructor, Daniel! My family has been skiing in Obertauern since 2019. I would recommend the CSA Skischule as they are professional at teaching and Danny makes learning very easy and lots of fun. Miha ( the head instructor) organizes the lessons and the teachers so well! My schedule for 2022 Christmas was:
In the morning my private lesson would start at 9:00 am with Danny and we would focus on technique and speed ( also huge jumps!) He is a superb teacher and very funny!
My mum and dad would have a private lesson with the amazing ski teacher, Lukas who looks like Obelix!
In the afternoon, at 1:00 pm my mum, my dad and I had a fun family session with the phenomenal DANNY! Danny was very kind and helpful to my mummy who is a very slow amateur.
I have learned a lot from Danny over the years and I cannot wait to come back next Christmas,

My children had a great week learning to ski, the teachers are so friendly and encouraging. The race day buzz was fun and getting to ride on the skidoo afterwards was really fun for the kids. Will definitely book this ski school when we return!

We went skiing as beginners for a private lesson 6x2 hours and we learned so much more than expected! The excersises were so much fun, and they helped us a lot. We were with two children of 12, and an adult of 50. Our ski teacher, Thea, was super friendly and fun, she helped us through all the difficult slopes and made us improve a lot. Definitely coming back!

Never been to a ski resort or area ever before. 3rd day today, I completd a red slope. Speckal thanks to my instructor Paul, who was amazing and took me down the red slopes. Also Thanks to Jenny and Chris for and amazing 3 days.

I would like to Thank you your skischule CSA and to your ski instructor Balazs Thurzo, who taught my 4 years old daughter Michaela ski. She is a beginner, despite the language barrier, he was absolutely fantastic. He was very helpful, kind with a lot of patience. Our daughter likes him so much and she absolutely loved to attend his ski lessons. Our Michaela improved her skiing and her technique. We really appreciate his help and kindness.

I would like to thank Ski Instructor Tamás Tóth for giving us professional ski course. He is a great instructor and we felt safe with him. We really enjoyed learning to ski. The teddy bear slope was our favorite! Thank You Tamas!

Season 21/22 started today with my first private lesson. In the morning we worked on the basics and fine tuned plough steering, alpine basic position, hokey stop, sliding/drifting. In the afternoon we did a nice alternative Tauern runde. We ended with the biggest smiles on our faces (though hidden behind the ffp2 masks). The skiing in the sun and clouds made it, together with the almost empty pistes, a fairytale like experience. Can’t wait till the next guests arrive. I’m happy to take you on a Tauern runde and work in the meantime in bettering your ski technique. Hope to see you soon in beautiful Obertauern.

Great ski instructors for both adults and kids! We had a few individual lessons with Mark and Matti and we appreciated them a lot. The kids not only learnt but also had great fun and enjoyed skiing together with their instructor.

Balazs was our great teacher, who gave us confidence on the ski slopes with his kind sturdiness. On the first day we got a lift back and forth to the slopes free of charge, this way we could start the training without any complication. 100% satisfied, would propose him to anybody. Thanks again!

What a week, Sun, snow and fantastic instructors. We had a group of 14 year olds who were nearly all beginners, some had never seen skiing before!! Erik and his team made us feel very safe every step of the way. They listened to what the group needed and supported them individually too. We would certainly recommend CSA Silvia Grillitsch to any group and would love to see them again next time.

Had a ski lesson with Leon. The best ski instructor. Caught my faults from the start of the lesson. We did some quick drills to fix. The rest of the time was just cruising the mountains of Obertauern. Perfect day. Great instructor. Ask for Leon. You won’t regret.

Mattis was a wonderful teacher for my 5 year old son. He took him for 3 days of 4 hours one-on-one tuition and has a lovely manner with children. Leo loved his lessons and made massive progress - he’s already asking when he can go skiing again!

We used the Danish instructor Gustav for one week for my two kids (3 and 5 years old). Great experience, kids loved him and the facilities in the center of Obertauern was a perfect "ski-playground" called Snowland for young starters. Best of all they got confident with skiing and had lots of fun.

We had a fantastic time learning skiing with our wonderful Hungarian instructor Balazs! He's super fun, professional and very experienced. Within our 2nd lesson we were able to ski down the beginner's slope independently. Without his guidance and expert training, we wouldn't have been able to achieve that!

I had a wonderful 8 hours of skiing lessons with Martin who is a fantastic instructor! Very patient, great in explaining everything to the smallest detail, thorough and kind!
Would definitely recommend booking skiing lesson with him and with the school!

We took 3 lessons (3x2 hours) for our 5 year old. Balazs was professional and very kind with my kid. After the sessions now he can ski on his own on light bobby slopes. Absolutely recommended!
