The restaurant has One of the most Beautiful view to the lake. All dishes are nice presented and tasty. Fettuccine is excellent. The service is attentive. Just that we need to pay in cash, no credit card accepted.

We ate here twice on our 3-day stay in Hallstatt.i had the chicken wrapped in bacon which was phenomenal! The waitesss served to have a pretty good grasp on food allergies which helped

Absolutely marvelous place, the kitchen is wonderful, the athmosphere - right at the lake with lanterns on a beautiful old tree is just magical and the service was very quick and kind! 100% recommend this was the best place we ate at in Hallstatt! ❤

This restaurant is full of rich history. It is warm and welcoming. The decor is delightful. This restaurant is cash only.

The food was very good and the wait staff was kind. This is really random but the eating utilities were massive. I mean the soup spoon was 1/2 the size of my hand. I ended up using my coffee spoon because the big spoon would barely fit into the mouth of a giant.

A unique place where you can eat Austrian dynasty desserts and coffees, delicious fish and shnitze right by the lake. very nice

Probably the only reservation-free restaurant available at night in Hallstatt (or at least when we were there) as other restaurants turn down walk-ins. It was a relief that Brauhaus welcome all types of walk-ins despite being a cash only restaurant.

When it’s a full house, it is understandable that the waiter / waitress may be a little distress, but on casual time they are warm and welcoming.

Food tastes good and the Brauhaus beer is really refreshing! The waitress spoke good English and smiles most of the time and tried her best in giving us the best experience.

Came back the second night and wasn’t disappoint as we were given the same treatment the second time.

The food was nice to be honest, i came to try the schnitzel and it was delicious.
The waiters spoke a good English and they were really helpful too.
The environment is calm especially with the amazing view that you see in the pictures.
But be careful that you can pay only in CASH

Ordered potato soup, chicken wrapped with bacon and pasta. I love the soup, very good warm up for a cold day. Pasta is a bit salty for me. Service is great, recommend this place.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here to celebrate my birthday in Hallstatt. Arrived to the restaurant early evening and were seated immediately.

The service I found to be quite good, as the waitress was friendly and attentive.

We both ordered the roast duck which was cooked perfectly, and served with a red wine sauce, potatoes and cabbage. Flavours in the dish were to die for and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.

The desserts we ordered were the chocolate cake and apple cake. They arrived promptly and were extremely tasty.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good old fashioned hearty meal in Hallstatt.

19.7. 2023 It was very nice place. We sat beside the lake. The waitress, who spoke slovakian, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it. The food was amazing.

Nice pork stew with reasonable price

Hallstatt is beautiful at any time of the year, including in late summer. the grand finale was an excellent lunch at this restaurant. probably the best snack I've ever eaten. ambience first line to the lake, service and food worthy of a world destination. my recommendations!

The food was tasty traditional Austrian fare, that came out quickly, fresh and hot! The terrace was beautiful and although the restaurant was busy and there was a queue to get a table, the service staff was fast and efficient. Cash only FYI.

It was very crowded and hard to find a table free. Sometimes, it seems like the waiters are moving really slow, but they are doing their best. I find it to be better than others who just take the location for granted and give nothing in return, knowing there will be clients disregarding bad service or mediocre food.
I think that it is the right place to go and all in all, the wait to be seated is worth it.

Tasty food mixted with great services, more that 5 stars if I could give.

We have a great dinner with medium rare duck breast and reasonable price grilled fish! Nicely organized restaurant!

Had dinner here with my wife and 6 year old.
They have a kids menu and the food is generally tasty and good. But do note that they do not accept credit cards.

Was really nice meal, we were in a hurry and they could accommodate us, but the food and service was excellent! The Turkey schnitzel was fantastic and desserts also very nice. Thanks for an awesome experience of Austrian cuisine!

Great service and awesome food.
Was raining outside and there's plenty of indoor seating as well. Nice Ambiance for couple or family.
Potatocream soup is delicious.
Highly Recommended.
Order pork fillet with noodles and that didn't disappoint either.
Beer is affordable too.
Come visit!
