Seashells Agnes Water

We recently stayed at this absolutely beautiful property for a week.
Superbly clean with everything you would want for a perfect
holiday even your own private beach access.
A real credit to the owners who maintain the property so beautifully ♡♡
I am a manager in the accommodation industry and was looking for some much needed rest and quiet time..
This property delivered that perfectly and i would comeback to stay in a heartbeat ♡♡

We stayed 19 days at "Seashells on the Beach" (21.04. until 09.05.2023) and had not the best experience at this Holiday-Place, even as returning Guest. When we arrived, the whole house smelled musty and inside were a few cockroaches and spider webs. The house is outdated and so is the fire extinguisher, which hasn't be check for the last 6 years. The Kitchen was a pure "nightmare". Pots, pans, cutlery, china and glasses where very dirty and we cleaned over a few hours everything. Outside was another surprise, hundreds of leafs on the deck which had to be removed too, before we finally could start our nearly 3 weeks Holiday. After we parked our car for a few days in their garage we want to discover the Area, but the car didn't start at first. After a few tries we were only able to drive max. 40km/h and managed to drive to "Agnes Water Auto Repairs". This was happening on Thursday 27.04.23 and we got told, to come back on Tuesday 02.05.23 because we need a spare part. We were not able to drive the car at all in that time frame. When we picked up our car from this "Auto Repair" we got informed that it was not a problem with a "spare-part", but Bush-Rats have entered the garage at "Seashells on the Beach" and have not just build a nest, no - they have chewed many wires in our car. This was setting us back over $725.00 and 6 days not able to use our car at all. Everybody knew about the "Sand-dune-Rats" in the Area at this time and nobody informed us at all. So be careful when you book this place, you could be in for a very nice ($$$) surprise when you park your car at this spot. Seeing now the very unprofessional reaction from the Landlord, we definitely wont go back for a third time. Just one more thing: Besides many things, he was also questioning, that we probably brought the rats all the way up from Brisbane. Funny, the leafs found inside in our car (Rats-Nest) by the "Agnes Water Auto Repairs" are matching the leaves outside the garage from "Seashells on the Beach".
