Barraca by the sea

Originally I came around this area for fish and chips; but decided to try this place out as it seems friendly and chill.

The staff were extremely friendly. Food was delectable, and really suits the vibes here.

Delicious, freshly made wagu steak and prawn skewers with sides ( surf and turf) and an easy dog friendly area to eat at the 1770 marina.

Family of 5. Your food was a hit with all of us. Kids loved it and so much flavour and variety in all of our meals. Is our fav pick for dinner in Agnes/1770 for now! Will definitely be back! Thank you 🙏🥰

The food was just fantastic for the price. Sure you're eating on BBQ type furniture and it's out of a cardboard box, and it's outside, but that is what it is. Our group of four all wanted to go back for a second dinner before we left and happy we did.

Got the lemon and herb chicken skewers with the coconut curry sauce. Hands down the best meal I have had from anywhere in years. Was only able to eat half as it was a very good serving. The donut balls with salted caramel sauce and Chantilly cream were to do for. I'm not a sweets kind of person, but I did end up eating them all lol I will be back, and bringing my partner next time 😊

Insanely delicious! Super tastey and filling. If you can’t make up your mind just go here and you won’t be disappointed. You get more beef than appears in the photo, I’d already had some. Would be awesome if you could mix and match the skewers you get. It’s hard to decide what to get they’re all so good!

This little food van creates spectacular flavors that some restaurants can’t even create.
We ate here one year ago, when we last visited the area, then came back two nights in a row this year.
Over the two nights we tried 6 options off the menu, including the donuts for dessert. We can safely say that everything was seasoned beautifully, the meat was tender and juicy, and of course, the service was amazing.
Wagyu skewers were seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection.
The sides were full of flavor and suited the meats without over shadowing the meats.
Picado creamy sauce pairs perfectly with the meats that were served.
The Chantilly cream was delicate and full of sweet flavor paired with the hot and sweet donuts.
This family goes above and beyond to create a tasty and unique takeaway food experience in a lovely location. We will be back when we visit again! Thank you Barraca by the Sea.

Five stars all round! Four of us ordered takeaway, each having a different meal. The food was absolutely delicious and came in very generous sizes. Service with a smile did not go un-noticed. We will definitely be back!!

Had the beef brisket tonight. So much flavour in the brisket (tender too), perfectly cooked potatoes, beautiful slaw and savoury rice. Loved it all!

Wonderful food and great service. Had takeaway but would be a gorgeous soot to sit with a bottle of wine and watch the sunset while enjoying what they do.

Ordered the Surf and Turf and it was delicious! As soon as I sat down, I had two strangers ask where I ordered my meal. They soon returned with the same.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Food was so delicious. And massive portions. We’ve saved some leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
