We recently stayed at NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park in Agnes Waters, Queensland, and had a fantastic experience! The park's close proximity to the beach made our stay incredibly enjoyable, allowing us to easily access the beautiful shoreline for walks and relaxation.

The amenities at the park were very clean and convenient, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. It's evident that the staff take great care in maintaining the facilities, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests.

Absolutely spectacular location. Right on the beach with a variety of beautiful accommodation options. Very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of leafy grass areas. Very pet friendly. Clean facilities and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

Stay in the surf mist cabin directly on the beach for location, price and what you get it’s 5 stars all the way. We had a great time. If there are people next door then be aware that the two front cabins have joining doors so if you have a noisy neighbour this might break your serenity

Really beautiful campsite with own beach access and the beach bar is amazing! Just a pitty that it’s not open for sunset time.
Really clean and calm campsite. I can recommend a lot the Diving shop in town :-)

This Park is one of the best run parks around. Managers and Staff are great and any problem you may have is dealt with immediately. We feel very secure in this park and any problem from unruly and drunken people is dealt with calmly and efficiently. the site is clean and mowed and the toilets and showers albeit very old are clean and has great hot water. thank you for making our stay a great one.

Great location, reasonable price. Bathrooms were ok, not enough of them, showers were not great,

Maybe my favourite campground to date. We paid $36 for unpowered which is pretty good for the area. Its a big park but feels pretty packed in when busy, I usually don’t like a busy campground but Agnes has a great feel to it, staff were lovely, other patrons were nice too. Yurt’s looked so cool, really wished they were in my budget! Would stay again.

We are on our first solo trek in the van, & spent 10 nights at this location, which coincidentally is the time of 1770 festival.

We are enjoying the overall experience in this site, & have the feedback as follows:

Positives:
This site is really well setup beside the beach, staff are friendly, and facilities suitable to both abled & disabled campers.
We are loving the sense of community amongst campers, feel included as LGBTIQ+ folk, and living our days (pretty much) as if on a QCB event.

Challenges:
Be aware that this park has 2 areas:

- The older (beachfront) area puts you real close to beach, and mixes campsites with luxury Glamping facilities. The latter have the best views, being situated with beach views, with regular campsites a step behind.

- The newer site, while attached, is a short walk to the beach, and is a denser mix of caravan & RV sites. We are situated in this area, being a last minute booking on a busy weekend.

General considerations:
Agnes Waters has really bad phone service, unless with telstra, and the site wifi was down in our area (tech problem). If you want to be connected, consider this before hitting this town.

I purchased a telstra modem to deal with this, and may keep this service for future camps.

We stayed in a glamping tent and it was fan! Air-conditioning came in handy as it was humid during our stay. Had our own bathroom. Ocean views from our balcony meant that the beautiful beach was basically on our doorstep. Highly recommend 👌
