2 night stay on our trip to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef. Beautiful hotel, lovely room, helpful staff and great location. Highly recommend if your looking to stay in Port Douglas.

We really loved the Villa San Michele. It was just our thing. It's right in the centre of 'Port' but still very quiet at night. Our apartment (no 7) is ground level. It has a very small but well equipped kitchen area, with a fridge, cooker, dishwasher and microwave as well as a kettle and toaster. It's handy for Coles supermarket and all the shops, bars and restaurants PD has to offer. We made full use of the balcony for breakfast with the birds and the fruit bats.
The lady at reception was friendly and helpful too.

We stayed here in Port Douglas for 4 nights. The weather was not great so we had to stay in our room a bit. The room was a really good size and well-equipped. The room was really clean, had a nice balcony and the hotel had 2 nice pools. There was the added benefit of good washing facilities which were free, you just had to buy powder which was just $2. The service from reception was really good and the added benefit of free parking on site made this an all-round great stay. The location is right in the middle of the busy main street but there was no noise in our room.

Great little oasis set back from the centre of Port Douglas. Rooms were clean and well equipped. All the shops and restaurants surround the hotel. Staff were very helpful.

What a fabulous place to stay, top class location, amazing facilities and amenities in the room. We cooked a fabulous dinner and wanted for nothing it was that well equipped. To the lady at reception thank you for being so accommodating and kind. Highly recommend to others.

What a fantastic location, it's right in the middle of everything. The staff are very friendly, the accommodation is very comfortable, we will definitely come back, we loved our stay. Thanks everyone for making us so welcome.

We loved our stay here. Very convenient and comfortable. The location is brilliant, right in the middle of the main street but it was nice and quiet in our room. Short walk down to the supermarket because we liked to cook at home, we also bought lovely fresh fish to cook at a nearby fish monger but also had the option of dining out when we chose to. Every morning we would walk to the end of the street and do the walk that goes around the head nearby with the magnificent views, we really enjoyed this stay, we would stay here again.

First visit back to Port Douglas since CoVid and after our 4 year absence, this apartment/ hotel continues to be a hidden gem; great accommodations; generally quiet. A easy walk to shopping; restaurants; bank ATM's and pubs. Walk a bit further to the harbor area with more restaurants, park and other activities. We spent just two nights here, definitely, we would like to stay more! This place is excellent, quiet, style, feels we are someplace in Europe like Tuscan. Beautiful and tidy, the room has such a nice space, good aircon in the room and another one in leaving room/kitchen. The Kitchen with all utensils that you need if you are considering cooking (not our case).

Two pool areas, small size but so agreeable, one of them have a jacuzzi.

The place is just in the middle of Port Douglas, so easy to do everything by walking. They have a nice car park in the hotel, so once you are there, don’t need to worry about your car.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and gave a list of open places.

We loved these apartments. Stayed in a 2 bedroom with a big balcony facing jungle trees on the 3rd floor. We had 2 comfy king beds. It’s very spacious and we slept well. Love the 2 pools and excelllent location in the middle of the Main Street of town. 5 minutes walk to 4 mile beach. Will stay again

What a nice place to stay for a week !

Yes, the building has aged a bit. Yes, there is a bit of a wear and tear feel to it …

But, I think that they have done a good good at keeping the place on good condition. It is well maintained.

The room I stayed in was great. Relatively large one bedroom apartment, overlooking the back of the property.

The pool area was small, but quaint.

The whole property has a nice, Tuscan, homely feel to it. And, it is in the middle of Port Douglas, easy walk to everything!

And it was great value in the low season.

I would love to stay here again.

We absolutely loved it here! Two beautiful pools, a comfortable apartment, and a fabulous location! The apartments are even quiet enough that we couldn't hear other guests and we were able to get good nights' sleep. Highly recommended! Thanks, Sara and team!

Loved it. We stayed here for 5 nights in a 2 bed apartment. It was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen and both bathrooms had been updated and were very well appointed. The outside heated pools and the surrounding patios are small but we found them adequate. It was nice to share the use of the barbeques. The location on the main road through Port Douglas was brilliant with superb access to the shops bars and restaurants. A five minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the mariner. Would definitely stay here again. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Was tossing up between this beautiful boutique hotel or The Mantra. Working in a boutique hotel I chose this delicious property!

Absolutely amazing! The Mediterranean style rooms, beautiful pool area and in the heart of the action of Port Douglas.

Even though being in the centre of town, you felt like you were in isolation. Nice, affordable, comfortable and safe rooms!

Forget the big chain hotels, this is an absolute gem!

We had a wonderful stay. The location, right in the middle of Macrossan St, couldn't be more convenient, and the two-bedroom apartment was very spacious. Both rooms had an ensuite bathroom, there was a large private balcony at the back overlooking palm trees and the tropical vegetation, and the living room had a fully equiped open space kitchen (inclusive of dishwasher). The facilities included two heated swimming pools, a garage (first come first served) and free laundry (both washing machines and dryers). The limited interactions with staff were pleasant too. The apartment was serviced after four days. Supermarket, shops, restaurants, Four-Mile Beach and Rex Smeal Park were all within a 5 minute walk.

Amazing place in the BEST location! After arriving after reception opening hours I found my checkin details very easy to follow to find my room with the air con on and my parcel I had pre-delivered awaiting me 👏🏼

Very spacious, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, 2 pools. Private and quiet but just off Macrossan Street. Stayed on the top floor and looked out through the tree canopies.
It had everything we needed, we loved it.

Spent a week here, very central to all of Port Douglas' facilities and main street. Accommodation was excellent, pool was refreshing, very quiet and felt like we were in Greece or Italy (lives up to the advertised Mediterranean feel). Highly recommend this accommodation.
