ANZAC Hill

Anzac Hill offers an amazing panoramic view of Alice Springs and I’d definitely recommend visiting.

29th august 2019 Anzac Hill is nice drive to the hill. First time I did was I thought that my car would roll down while I am trying to drive. As you drive there is information with poster about the war. The parking is small but there is always parking available. Disabled parking is there and there is ramp which can be used. Coming to the top of the hill you can see the macdonald range and view of Alice spring . Meet few visitors from different part of the world and they were just having a stopove in Alice.
This is the must place to see when in alice spring and the best thing is the sunset at the macdonald range and the sunrise

This hill is on the edge of town & gives you a 360° birds eye view of the whole town. Lovely spot to visit at sunrise & sunset. You can drive up or if you're fit it's quite a steep run up. Definitely worth a look

An important memorial monument standing tall in the heart of Alice Springs. Offers 360 views in all directions of the town and you can see how Alice nestles within the pocket in the ranges. A must stop to appreciate the view when you’re visiting or passing through

We dropped in here before we left to leave Alice Springs. There are are toikets at the garage below. Its a great look out and a well keot war memorial. Worth a stop has access for wheel chairs as well.

A worthwhile short, steep walk up to the top of Anzac Hill. Great views of Alice Springs! Glad we came across this lookout prior to leaving Alice Springs. Recommend stopping at Anzac Hill lookout if visiting Alice Springs.
A heartfelt memorial monument.

Anzac Hill has a really good view of Alice Springs. If you’re new to the town, I recommend coming here sometime in the day so you can get a good view of the town and get a feel on where things are here. Best time to come here is in the afternoon because the view of the sunset in the afternoon is stunning.

Awesome place to watch a sunrise 🌅 Amazing.

We arrived in time to watch the sun rise over the town of Alice. Great place to see the mountain range circling this little town. Only down side is the spotlights when taking photos but they turn off just in time for the actual sunrise. Definitely have us a different feel for this town when seeing it from above; style our heart.

With a panoramic view of the city of Alice Springs in the background, I experienced an absolutely breathtaking sunset here.

The anzac hill war memorial, which is situated on top of the hill, makes this a place of historic significance.

Come here for possibly the best view of Alice Springs. I recommend coming for sundown which looks stunning. I came back at night which was great aswell. You can drive up or do a short walk up a hill to get there. Might be a few people around depending on what time of year you come.

It was lovely to go up and have a great view of Alice Springs and honour the ANZAC soldiers. Great place for sunrise photos as well.

Very nice place to get a good view over Alice Springs. And very near the city center, so it isn't much if a detour.
