Ocean Palms Apartments Port Douglas

Recently stayed at Ocean Palms Apartments for 5 days.
Where do we start…??
Our 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, bright, light and airy. Superbly renovated and decorated with comfortable, quality furniture.
The accommodation was conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Macrossan Street, where the street is alive with restaurants and cafes.
Bec, the Apartment Manager was very welcoming and friendly, greeting us upon arrival and always with a smile on her face!!! Bec paid particular attention to detail with little extras placed in the apartments including a lovely bag of deluxe biscuits in the fridge upon our arrival. Bec went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one, offering a suggested list of eating places prior to our arrival and willing to make bookings etc for any tours.
From our experience we highly recommend Ocean Palms Apartments if you intend staying in Port Douglas. We are returning next year for a family wedding and intend staying at the apartments.

Leonie and I stayed for 6 nights , the apartment is awesome , everything you could need , in a great location close to everything, spotlessly clean , great layout. Pool great size , And now for Bec one the nicest , friendliest, great communicator, nothing was too much trouble , one of the best holidays we have had ! Very lovely hotel apartment stay located perfect distance from everything. The kitchen was fully equipped apart from an oven but was very functional with an outdoor BBQ. Very spacious and the manager Bec was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend as a stay for couples and soloists.

Where do I start! Upon arrival here I was shocked by how absolutely gorgeously renovated the whole building is! Yet still keeping original fixtures! Firstly the entrance is welcoming and super clean! With it’s own little forest inside! I always judge a place by the cleanliness first and foremost and I cannot think of anything wrong with this place! It’s absolutely beautiful! The rooms are amazing with key Pad entry so no issues trying to remember keys! The kitchen is full functioning and perfectly equipped with much more than you can ever imagine! The seating is super comfy ! I can’t decide which is comfier the perfectly supporting bed or the Brand new Look and feeling sofa! I am a clean freak personally and I can tell you this place is spotless never once had an issue with insects the black out Blinds are amazing at night ! And the big glass doors to allow in the light during the day and the balcony ! The pool! Oh my gosh the Kitchenette area and Plastic yet classy glassware in your room is perfect to have a cold drink and the pebbled pool is so soothing with no Sharp edges go catch your feet as well as easily accessible for all ages! For me it’s the little Details like the ice moulds in the freezer or bottle of water in the fridge or the High end soaps at the sinks! And finally Bec, probably the kindest, funniest and most down to earth human being if I could give her a medal I would! It is obvious she’s put her Heart and Soul into this place and the Pride for this Building she has is staggering. We need more people like Bec in this World! She is always happy and smiling and never without a warm heart felt greeting full of suggestions for what to do around town! I felt so comfortable and welcome here I cannot explain my gratitude! Forget the Hotels and come and experience a real welcoming smile and a perfect home away from home for a while and experience Port Douglas the way I have! You will not regret it! Not will you ever forget the wonderful lady who makes you feel right at home and welcome in her wonderful building! Give this girl a raise she deserves it more than anyone I’ve ever met! This is the best place I’ve ever stayed. Truly.

This apartment is definitely a must return! Clean, immaculate actually. Hosts quick to respond and provided restaurant recommendations. The furniture and decor are inviting and fully functional kitchen and patio just made this place. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. Amazing jump off point for Daintree and Cape Trib tours!

Ocean Palm is the best place in Port Douglas to spend your holidays !
Bec is a really lovely person and it shows that she takes care of the place with all her heart and energy.

The location is perfect, 5 mins by walk from the beach, the center, supermarche, the marina... And the rooms are so clean. The decoration is modern with a really good taste. Don't hesitate to book a room there !

We have stayed in many five star holiday accommodations over the years and Ocean Palms presentation and cleanliness is outstanding. The little extras provided to make our stay more enjoyable such as shopping bags, cling wrap and olive oil just to name a few. Free laundry with detergent adds to this quality boutique accommodation, exceptional value for money and great location makes this a number one choice.

We loved our stay at Ocean Palms. As mentioned in other reviews, Bec is a great host and she made sure we had everything we needed during our time here. The location is great, a 5 minute walk will get you to the beach, Macrossan Street and the marina. The apartment was clean and tidy, kitchenette is well equipped so we didn't have to eat out every night and the on site laundry was very handy. Accommodation is set up to host couples and single travellers so this is a good spot to avoid school holiday traffic. Highly recommend.

Bec is one of the most incredible hosts. I've travelled the world and stayed a lot of places , and Bec is world-class.

The apartments are spacious with all the amenities you need. Great peaceful location with a short walk to everything. Loved lounging by the pool which was a beautiful temperature being cool and refreshing. We stayed with a group of friends over the Easter period and it was perfect for our group. Home away from home, would love to come back.

Bec is a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied.
Fantastic location, very close to shopping, restaurants and 4 Mile Beach. The accommodation is modern, clean and came with everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Port Douglas.

Fabulous location in a lovely apartment that have been beautifully styled. Spotlessly clean, with everything you could ask for and more. Our apartment was quiet, with no noise from neighbours, and easy walking distance to beach, main street, wharf, shops and supermarket. Wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. We stayed for 7 nights and wish it was more. Will definitely be back, loved every minute of our stay.

A great little stay in Port Douglas - perfectly clean, cozy layout, great and workable kitchen, huge balcony and fantastic location. We loved being able to walk absolutely everywhere. Bec was an outstanding host, she was so welcoming and friendly and made us feel that there was no request she wouldn't assist with. Not to mention super quick with communication. We will definitely book again for our next trip.

Ocean Palms Apartments are tastefully renovated and provide spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation in a great location. The are surrounded by lush tropical gardens and a tranquil pool area. It's an easy walk to both the main street of Port Douglas and Four Mile Beach. Our host, Bec, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure our stay in Port Douglas was a positive experience. She booked tours and airport transfers for us and also recommended restaurants to try.

The position of the complex is so central our unit had everything we needed our weekly service was timely and done to a high standard.
Bek's has been amazing very responsive to our communications, attentive and delivers a high standard.
We would have no hesitation recommending her as your host for your stay or as your property manager.

Very comfortable, with added touches/extras made for a wonderful stay! Well appointed apartment for a couples getaway. Close to centre of town with easy convenience to restaurants, marina, beach, shops. Our Hostess was simply marvellous, very prompt in responding to any questions, and has a wealth of local knowledge. Bec even arranged tours for us and all transfers. Couldn’t speak more highly! Highly recommend this stay.

We had another lovely stay at Ocean Palms Apartments. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we could've asked for. The kitchenette had all cooking utensils. The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants, bars and is very close to the beach.
