Wild Ocean Tasmania

Wow! What an incredible day! We saw so many seals and amazing bird life as well as the incredible caves and Rick formations. Damo was an absolute legend - so passionate about sustainable living and so knowledgeable. He also made my son, who has additional needs, feel so welcome just by being himself. I wish I could give 10 stars instead of five. Seriously the best nature tour we have ever been on.

Absolutely loved our time on the rib, we had an epic day on the Great Southern Ocean. Sea eagles, Albatross, Migrating Slender-billed Shearwater, Fairy Penguins, many Seals, then we were literally surrounded by dozens of Common Dolphins for 1/2 an hr which blew our minds until Humpback 🐋 's stole the show. Nature at its very best with passionate and competent guides and rib captain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED..

What an experience! Damo has so much passion about marine wildlife, habitats and conservation. This little boat excursion just begins to peel back the curtain on the wealth of knowledge and experience he has and wants to share.
His skippering skills are god tier, the positioning and control of the boat were flawless, and felt perfectly safe 100% of the time.
Dress warm and bring your camera.

The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the ocean, marine animals and the seacliffs, caves etc. It was the highlight of our Tasmanian trip and better than other wildlife sea cruises we have done which were very good. Make sure to include this tour!

What a fantastic experience. We got so close to the seals that you could almost touch them. Loved seeing the coastline up close . Makes you wonder how early sailors managed navigating around this area. Thanks so much Damo for a wildlife experience that we won’t ever forget

Best operation I've experienced so far! Locally owned, extremely fun and knowledgeable host/captain in Damo. Business puts a lot back into the local community. Must do if you're visiting the Tasman Peninsula.

Unforgettable experience! We saw a whale gather with dolphins, seals and birds for a great hunt, as well as beautiful landscapes of Tasmania and two rare sea eagles. The tour was also very educational with lots of new information about Tasmania and its wildlife. The small boat makes it a really personal experience where you feel well taken care of. We also really liked that Wild Ocean Tasmania does a lot for the environment and wildlife in Tasmania.
It's a unique experience delivered by unique people. Definitely do this tour when you are in Tasmania, you won't regret it!

One of the best boat trips I’ve ever done, fun boat ride, whales, seals, albatross and much more, thx so much for a terrific afternoon on the water.

What a beautiful cruise! Damian is a cool guide, and will do everything to make it a day to remember. All the tours were already fully booked, but he made another one, just for me and 2 other couples. We had an awesome time on the water, we saw loads of seals, and even 2 humpback whales! What an adventure, and this all is eco friendly. If you are in the neighbourhood, go and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.

One of the best tours we have taken. I don't think you can get such close encounters with seals in the wild. Susie and Damo are great guides and share a lot of knowledge about the Tasman coastline. They are passionate about what they do and really care about the environment and wildlife, there is a lot to learn from them. They raise quite a few orphaned wildlife, which requires a lot of time. We got to see a baby wallaby.

Both go out of their way to do their best to make this a memorable experience. We were lucky to encounter quite a few pods of dolphins, and they made quite a few detours to get us a close look at the dolphins.

Like I said, it's one of the best experiences. I will definitely be back to do this again . Thank you Susie and Damo.

The best ever boat trip and I've done lots!! Whales, dolphins, seals, several species of albatross all feeding together and jumping around and over each other for the visible Crill and bait fish, just magic ✨💖

My husband and I got lucky yesterday and enjoyed the tour just us with the owner Damian, a true lover of the nature and the living creatures. We met the deep blue endless ocean, we met the unbelievable formation showcases the master peice of the earth, we met the playful and cold-fearless seals, and Ms Pinky daughter of mother nature. Most unforgettable is that we met ourselves, the tiny, insignificant us. Highly recommend those who would love some salty water splash and experience a very very different tour. By the way, pictures don't even show one tenth of what you'll experience, so go and explore. 😉

We had the most magical experience with Wild Ocean Tasmania! We got the once in a lifetime experience of seeing a mother humpback whale and her baby and to accompany them for a little while on their long journey from the Great Barrier Reef all the way to Antarctica. The little one even jumped next to the boat! Not to mention a group of cute seals and some amazing caves and cliffs from a unique perspective… On top of all of that Damian is a great guide and his knowledge of ocean health, marine life as well as his commitment for its preservation and deep connection to nature is very inspiring. We learnt a lot that day and we are forever thankful for this wonderful experience.

Absolutely the best experience of our whole 14 day trip. The scenery was stunning and overwhelming. Really made you realise just how amazing our planet is. Damo was so fun and informative and gave us a lot to think about. We've certainly made changes to our lives in a good way. A real eye-opener. Thank you Damo.

If you do one boat trip In Tassie make it this one. I have worked in tourism for over 30 years, this is one of the most genuine experiences your going to get anywhere. Read the reviews they say it all!

We are going to adventures coastal tour. This tour will take you to see wild life along Tasmania coast line including some birds and seals. The weather it’s chilly. Just remember that it’s near Antarctica So, please prepare your own warm jacket otherwise they will give you their jacket to wear it. The guide tour will have full of information for your knowledge. It’s good fun. Recommended to do this tour with them. 👍🏻👍🏻

Damien from wild ocean tasmania conducted an informative, interactive and fun tour. We went on the coastal adventure tour and saw dolphins and seals and the beautiful coastline of Eaglehawk neck. Our guide was passionate and even told me a few good snorkeling spots around the island. Would 100% recommend Damo and this tour!!
