One of southern NSW little secrets. Tucked in the beautiful Murray River town of Tocumwal, famous for its gliding, hertiage airport and museum, this cafe is a true gem, featuring home made cakes and food.

Eat inside or in the cosy alley, and let the kids play in the dollshouse under the wisteria.

If you're passing through from Melbourne to Brisbane on the Newell or just day tripping, call in. Have a nice break.

We discovered our great food and service last time was no accident... this place is a MUST stop if you're in the area. Thats why I've now given it five stars.

Lovely little bookshop cafe... beautiful scrambled eggs and toast... the first ever to order.. how good is that :) and very polite staff..... ill be back.

One of my all time favourite places to pass the time sipping an excellent coffee whilst browsing the book shelves or thumbing through the daily papers. An open fire in the cooler weather adds to the ambiance. Yummy homemade options to accompany the coffee. Definitely recommend

Gorgeous little place! Inside was delightfully cozy, with nearly 3 walls worth of books to browse through while you wait and drink your coffee, which was perfect! We also had breakfast, a halumi BLT and a bacon and egg sandwich. Both were huge! I loved browsing through their collection of books!

Really great stop in Tocumwal, with lovely people and lots of good options for lunch and a treat. Coffee was really good. Can be hard to find a nice place to meet friends up here, so having discovered Chrissie's we now have the perfect place for quiet conversation and good food. Very happy. Try the toasted banana bread!

Dutch Apple Pie to die for! Crumbed top, pastry base & lots of cream. Tasty Chicken & Pesto omelette as well.
